Galileo Galilei
Been protected for two days over a "slow edit war" (whatever that is) with some anon IPs. Pages shouldn't stay protected for so long, at least in this instance. -- Netoholic @ 19:22, 2004 Sep 23 (UTC)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vietnam_Veterans_Against_the_War --209.86.254.201 has made 15 edits in the past day, and much of the information he is including is coming directly from the VVAW websitse. He has also contiunaly remove the NPOV header after his edits. TDC 14:58, Sep 23, 2004 (UTC)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_Soldier_Investigation --209.86.254.201 cuntinualy adds information into the article from VVAW's website and will not stop edit wars. TDC 14:58, Sep 23, 2004 (UTC)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivar_Aasen-sambandet - Continuous vandalism and multiple reverts: User adding lots of information sullying the organisation Ivar_Aasen-sambandet. Being "in hominem" as well. Please revert to "Revision as of 22:31, 21 Sep 2004" --FATagnus 13:16, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Actually most of the reverts appear to have been done by you. The edit do not look like vandalism to me. i think page protection is premature. Try talking first. Theresa Knott (taketh no rest) 14:43, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_W_Bush - Increased Vandilism (My son went to the page for school, and there was bad language and sexually explict text.)

  • The vandalism is fixed and the vandal appears to be gone. So, I would not protect it now, but we might want to protect it later, if vandalism gets more frequent, with elections approaching. Andris 19:31, Sep 22, 2004 (UTC)
    • Oops, just as I was writing it, the page got vandalized again. If that bkeeps happening, I will protect the page. Andris 19:35, Sep 22, 2004 (UTC)
      • Perhaps it might be a good idea to protect all potentialy sensitive articles (Bush Kerry Nader) at some pre-determind date before the election. Thoughts? TDC 16:07, Sep 23, 2004 (UTC)
