Child Mayor for the Day

On June 5, 2006 Mayor Nick Churnovic is letting a 6th grader from Chaney-Monge school named Patrick R. Ackerman to assist as Mayor for the day. As far as we know this is a first for the city of Crest Hill to allow a child to help with this civic duty. He will be the youngest person who will be allowed to help a political leader.
