Wikipedia is not an advertising medium

As far as I can tell, Between Home And Serenity is a simple advertisement for the band in the form of an article. According to Wikipedia's policies, "all articles written about yourself, your friends, your company, their business partners or products, or as part of a marketing or promotional campaign, may be deleted without further notice in accordance with our deletion policies." For more information, see Wikipedia:Spam, and What Wikipedia is not. -- The Anome 19:27, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that removing the article does not make the policies go away. Again, Wikipedia is not MySpace: please read Wikipedia:Spam, and What Wikipedia is not. -- The Anome 19:49, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
