A bishonen is a Japanese beautiful androgynous homosexual male youth. I'm now ready to admit that I don't have a single one of these characteristics. It's a lucus a non lucendo name. I had Momus' song "Bishonen" playing in my head when it was time to pick a username, and liked the word for its sound and sort of for the way it failed to fit me. Sorry about that. I still like the name.

I have created a few articles and cleaned up quite a few. The lists below are fitful, they're just some items that I like to have on lists. Removing lots of promotespeak from advert-type articles is something I enjoy doing, though I hope I don't take sadistic pleasure in it. Well, I suppose I do, really. I also translate from the Scandinavian languages, and from really simple French and German, and nitpick at other people's translations and other texts.

Disputes and revert wars about articles with political implications I hate, as I suppose most people do, and maybe some day I'll take the consequences and stop editing such pages, but it hasn't happened yet.

I'm a klutz with wiki markup and all technical stuff, but I know I am, so I nearly always preview. I'm a very slow editor.

Geogre, a one-man article-creating battalion, a human editing machine, is one of my best friends.
