Incest between twins
Twincest is a term used to describe an incestous relationship between twins, or siblings who look very similar.
The term twincest is mostly used in fanfiction, where it holds a large fanbase of writers and readers. Taboo relationships thrive in the world of fandom and fanfiction, and many fans read and write stories featuring explicit romantic and sexual relationships between twins (twincest).
Mainstream twincest relationships are common place in media such as commercials for beer and men's magazines. In these cases, twincest relationships are usually only implied and almost always used for a shock effect.
In addition, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia of Star Wars have a romantic (although not overtly sexual) relationship in A New Hope and, to a reduced extent, The Empire Strikes Back. In Return of the Jedi, however, Leia has seemingly chosen Han Solo over Luke even before it is revealed that the pair are twins.
In traditional Balinese culture, a set of twins of the opposite sex were forced to marry each other, since it was assumed they had sex in-utero.[1]
