Comfort in Sound is the fourth full-length album by the British Rock band Feeder. It was released on October 21, 2002 on The Echo Label.

It's the first album to be released after Jon Lee's death.

The album got many top reviews in the music press, and featured in many end of year lists (not forgetting "Album of the week", and "Album of the month" in various publications) the album a year later helped them win "Best British Band" at the Kerrang! awards.

It is to date the band's best selling album, shifting 600,000 worldwide with about 80%+ of the sales from the UK.

In its year of release it was the #178 album in the end of year chart selling just over 100,000 copies, and then #66 in the 2003 end of year selling 260,000 bringing its tally up to 360,000+ at the time, in which it went platinum in May (300,000), the same week the band made their Glastonbury Festival main stage debut. It has since sold in small quantities as a catalogue album to bring its UK tally up to 436,000 as it stood when follow-up album Pushing The Senses charted, during which time the album dropped out of the UK top 75 after a five week re-entry reaching #41. Its peak position is #6.
