The BRIT School located in The Crescent, Selhurst, Croydon is Britain's only free performing arts and technology school.

Ex members of the school include Katie Melua, Lyndon David-Hall, Imogen Heap, Luke Pritchard, Dan Gillespie Sells (Lead singer of The Feeling and Amy Winehouse.

The BRIT School is an independent, state funded City College for the Technology of the Arts, the only one of its kind dedicated to education and vocational training for the performing arts, media, art and design and the technologies that make performance possible. As a school for 14-19 year olds, it is unique and pioneering in its approach to education, but it is not a stage or fame school. The school recognises that most of the students intend to make a career in the arts, entertainment and communications industries, but the school expects all to follow full time courses to completion. It is a vocational school.

The school has a unique atmosphere of support and respect which helps cultivate the ability and talent of young people. Students and staff have created an open, friendly, flexible yet rigorous approach to study. Achievements at both Key Stage 4 and Post-16 in vocational and academic qualifications testify to the success of the school, as do the range of successful ex-students now working and studying in the creative industries.

Propaganda Not Included

Before anyone changes this all this information is based on facts from student at the school.

The school also encourages homosexual relashonships, with the amount of gay people being almost triple the average rate. It is also widely accepted that the brit school is very outdated in every aspect from teaching to the equipment used in all departements. Here is a famous quote from a previous student "Dont waste your time with this shit hole nothing positive will come of it." This kind of attidute prevails deep within the walls. The positives are largely out-weighed by the negatives, alot can be said about the brit school but 99% of it isent worth hearing.
