Wikipedia talk:Requests for checkuser/Case/Tobias Conradi

I have started a discussion about this on Tobias' talk page. If they are not sock puppets, they are at least technically meatpuppets. Tobias has said they are friends from off the project who came to his support while he was blocked. The issue is are they indeed friends, and thus separate people, or are they Tobias himself in different guises. If the former, then they should be unblocked at this point, and the sockpuppet warnings removed. If the latter, then my support of Tobias in the recent situation will turn out to be misplaced. - TexasAndroid 19:57, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

is everybody who is my friend a "technical meat puppet"? I assume no. Consider stopping to call them meat puppets. They are human beings who can decide for themselves what they do. Also, Tobias would like his name cleared of the accusations of Sockpuppetry. Yeah, he used IPs to dodge and protest his block, but he ended up serving a bit over a week for that whole thing. The facts are that Tobias used IP socks and these two users acted as meatpuppets. There is no name to clear here, I have stated before I thought the registered users were meatpuppets. That doesn't affect the outcome of his previous block. Hauke wrote to me privateley saying he had a dymanic IP and would just edit under a different name, so If these users would like to be unblocked, they can request to do so themselves, however I have seen no indication of that from the users, only continual rants by Tobias claiming they were wronged. pschemp | talk 20:34, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

First: of all, you still fail to provide the checkuser you claimed you had at hand.

Second: there is a name to be cleared from your repeated false allegations. Don't deny this.

Third: nobody is discussing your previous blocks of me here. We only discuss some of your claims and allegations which you still stick to, they are: accusing Hauke and Chris being sockpuppets of me. And accusing me of sockpuppetry.

Fourth: It is not your decision who can put an unblock request, every wikipedian can do so. It was your very own mistake and a possible policy violation to block them.

I just had a call with Hauke now who forwarded the emails to me.

I'm sorry, that doesn't prove anything. At the very least you acted as
a meatpuppet for Tobias which is also against the rules.

Ok, that I could do anyway. Since I login via a provider. Any time I
login I will get a different IP, depending on which one is free and
usually I have to share this IP with many others. So if you block IPs
you just annoy also others from this provider to contribute to Wiki.

Sorry, being Wiki-editor is not that important to make nonsense
struggles. A Meatpuppet is someone who just does what someone else asks
him to do. I checked myself if Tobias' arguments were logic. It is just
fair to put myself out for Tobias. Up to recently I just added
information to Wiki anonymous. Never ever any bothered about what I
contributed. I guess your behaviour is a result of something different
from Wiki. Think about it.

Since when have admins the right to decide whether someone has to change his user name? At the phone Hauke told me, that he regards all this blocking and name change request by you as very childish.

Fifth: please bring evidence for your meat puppet allegations.

Tobias, every time I say something you blow it out of proportion and make a grand big issue and add more grandiose accusations. Since it is obvious you can't discuss things in a calm logical manner without twisting facts and latching onto insane technicalities, I am done conversing with you. Find someone else to help you, I tried many times to communicate but you can't seem to let anything go. I am invoking WP:IAR as defense of all my actions that you seem to think are out of line. Argue all you want to other people, but you have exhausted my patience and I refuse to deal with you any more.
