"The most important artist to ever come from the suburbs of Dallas." - Lauren Miller. Jason first left his mark at the University of Nebraska at Kearney as a poet. He won several poetry competitions and was runner-up in a slam contest. He later moved down to Dallas TX where he studied audio engineering. He released several albums on his own Infinite Loop Label. He wrote the lyrics, the music, produced the tracks, and distributed his own albums. He gained little notoriety from the mainstreem press, but all of the waiters at the Black-Eyed Pea in Plano (Park and Preston) really enjoyed his music. Kenneth Melton especially enjoyed his music. "Jason? Yeah, we used to call him Jbro - he was makin' all of these funky ass beats - i don't know where he came up with all of those - that shi** was bangin!!" Soon, Jason moved west to the University on Texas at Arlington where he studied the age-old art of radio. Here, he founded the highly successful talk-radio program, Dirty Channel Radio. With his co-host Aaron Martin and sports expert Adan Gutierrez he ruled the airwaves of Arlington. Soon, his successful radio career led him to Richard May the Assistant Director of Texas Night Train, who he recruited to help him direct The Artist. The Artist is a moody, brilliant period film that takes place in modern times. It's the best silent film made in Arlington TX in 2004. Screenwriter Adan Gutierrez also appeared in the film as Friend #2 and Heart-throb Aaron Martin played The Artist. The film was critically acclaimed but it tanked at the box office. Jason took this really hard. Within months, Jason quit making movies and left Arlington - to this day he hasn't been found. Some speculate that he is living somewhere in Central Mexico writing a novel - others say that he is in a mental institution in Wisconsin. Nonetheless, he left behind volumes of poems, songs, and a few short films for generations of disaffected human beings to enjoy.
