Charlton is a village in the Vale of Pewsey in the English county of Wiltshire. On some maps, it is shown as Charlton St. Peter.

Local Government

Charlton forms part of the civil parish of Charlton and Wilsford, which has an elected parish council. It falls within the the areas of Kennet District Council and Wiltshire County Council. All three councils are responsible for different aspects of local government.
