Survivor Series 1998 was the twelfth annual Survivor Series pay-per-view wrestling event. It was held on November 15, 1998 at the Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri. It was headlined with a tournament called The Deadly Game for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. It was the first tournament held with the WWF Championship on the line in ten years, the last being at WrestleMania IV. Coincidentally, both tournaments were 14-man tournaments instead of the regular 8 or 16-man tournaments.

Bossman was a replacement for Triple H who was still out with a knee injury.

- This was the Undertaker's Final Survivor Series appearance under his deadman gimmick until the 2004 edition.
- WWF Tag Team Champions Billy Gunn and Road Dogg def. D'Lo Brown and Mark Henry and The Headbangers
- The Rock def. Mankind to win the WWF World Title
- The ending to this match was a reference of the 1997 Survivor Series (the first of many times the company would intentionally rehash the Montreal Screwjob), with The Rock trapping Mankind in the sharpshooter and Vince McMahon ordering for the bell to be rung, despite the fact that Mankind did not submit.
