AAAHH!!! Real Monsters! is the title of a 1994 animated series about scary monsters in training, developed by Klasky-Csupo for the Nickelodeon TV channel. The show ran for three seasons on Nick's main US cable channel, and may be in reruns on Nicktoons TV.

Main characters

  • Ickis (voiced by Charles Adler) - a purple guy with big ears
  • Oblina (Christine Cavanaugh) - a cane who walks and talks
  • Krumm (David Eccles) - juggles his eyes in his hands
  • Gromble (Gregg Berger) - the teacher of the monster school
  • Snorch (also voiced by Eccles) - the headmaster
  • Zimbo (Tim Curry) - Snorch's flying spy
  • Simon (James Belushi) - A human who hunts monsters and is anxious to prove their existence
