Peak Literary Festival logo

The Peak Literary Festival is held in the Peak District National Park annually in the Spring and Autumn.

Dates and venues

The Spring Festival starts on the last Friday in May and the autumn on the last Friday in October. Events include a literary dinner and lunch at historic venues such as Chatsworth House and Hassop Hall and Panel discussions with a strong audience participation.

Autumn 2006 Festival

Autumn 2006 speakers include 'The Great Outdoors' events with Rob Gambi, Jo Gambi,Benedict Allen,Fred Pearce, James Cracknell, Ben Fogle. Other speakers include G.P Taylor,William Dalrymple,David Blunkett ,George Galloway ,The festival also includes a Literary Dinner at Chatsworth House a Literary Lunch at Hassop Hall, and a Spanish evening with Chris Stewart and Peter Kerr.
