The Amazing Race 10
Template:Infobox Television Amazing Race The Amazing Race 10 will be the tenth installment of the popular reality television show, The Amazing Race. The Amazing Race 10 will feature twelve teams of two, with a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the world. Applications were accepted through January 20, 2006 (one week later than the original deadline). Semi-finalist interviews occurred in late February/early March, followed by finalist interviews in Los Angeles during late March and early April. Filming began in May 2006 and CBS expects to air the show in Fall 2006 in a new Sunday 8PM ET/7PM CT, timeslot. [1] Template:Spoiler

Trivia
General
- This is the first season to feature an Asian American team, an Indian American team, a Muslim American team, an amputee, and an open lesbian.
- This is the first season to circumnavigate the globe from east to west.
Race locations
The Race's starting point is in Kite Hill at Gasworks Park in Seattle, Washington, which also served as the finish line in Season 3.[1] Beijing has been confirmed as the first pit stop of the race. [2]

Future locations
A CBS announcement made on July 15 confirmed that the race will visit 13 countries and cover over 40,000 miles, including Mongolia, Vietnam, Kuwait and Madagascar.[3] Teams and camera crews have been recently sighted in Mauritius [4] (See video), Finland [5], and France. [6]
