The AMX 10 P is a French armoured personnel carrier. It has NBC protection and amphibious capabilities, with hydro jets to swim in water.
In the French Army, 108 of these will be upgraded in 2005, notably improving the armour and mobility [1]. An active armour kit is already available.
An export success, the AMX-10P has been operated in the past by France, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, Indonesia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Mexico.
