The Caged Heat match match

The Caged Heat match came to be after the début of Vince Russo a controversial figure who formally worked for the wwe who was brought to wcw after the departcher of Eric Bischoff. These matches were WCW’s version of the WWE’s Hell in a Cell. Their was not a lot of these matches for soon after they came to be Vince Mcmahon bought World Championship Wrestling. For that reason the match is generally unheard of fom the modern wrestling fan. Although these matches should not be discretteted for they are basically Hell in a Cell matches without the wwe logo. These matches are only a few of WCW forgotten cage match treasures.

Common Confusion

Despite what some people think the WCW caged heat match was not the same as a thundercage which was a National Wrestling Alliance/WCW original match. The caged heat match actually made its debut long after the thundercage which debuted in the late 80’s.The thundercage was a Hell in a Cell size no roof. The caged heat match was just Hell in a Cell.
