Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001) is a comedic monster movie, the third in the Tremors series featuring the subterranean worm-creatures dubbed "Graboids". It was directed by Brent Maddock and stars Michael Gross.
Synopsis
After the visit to a Mexican oilfield in Tremors 2: Aftershocks, this film returns the action to the small Nevada town of Perfection. Local resident and adventurer Burt Gummer (Gross) comes home from an international Graboid/Shrieker hunt to learn that, somewhat to his disgust, ten years after the Graboid attack depicted in the first film in the series, life has slipped pretty much back to normal. However, he soon finds himeself forced to deal with an abnoxious land developer, a thrill-seeker named Jack Sawyer looking for wealth in this potential tourist town, and a deadly new stage in the Graboid life-cycle: the airborne flame-spewing Ass-Blaster.
Sequel
The film was followed a prequel entitled Tremors 4: The Legend Begins, which featured Gross playing an ancestor of Burt.
