OrCAD is a software tool for electronic design automation and the name of the company that produced it. The software is used mainly to create electronic prints for manufacturing of printed circuit boards and by electronic design engineers and electronic technicians to manufacture electronic schematics and diagrams, and for their simulation.

The name OrCAD is a portmanteau, reflecting the software's origins: Oregon + CAD.

The OrCAD product line is fully owned by Cadence Design Systems. The latest iteration, known as OrCAD CIS, has the ability to maintain a database of available integrated circuits that can be updated by a vendor such as Digi-Key.
