T (New York City Subway service)

The T is the future designation of service on the planned Second Avenue Subway line. T trains will make stops along Second Avenue from 125th Street in Harlem to Hanover Square in Lower Manhattan.Starting In September 9 2006 T Trains will become a 6 Avenue Express It will run Local In The Bronx Only.Its Express In Manhattan And Brooklyn.It Runs Between [Beford Park Blvd] and Stillwell Avenue.Rush Hours It runs Express In The Bronx AM Rush Hours Uptown and PM Rush Hours Downtown.It runs on the [West End Line] In Brooklyn.Late Nights It runs Local On The Entire Route.

The designation has previously been used for a defunct service on the BMT West End Line, originally BMT 3.

T currently appears on rollsigns as a black letter on a white circle; see Unused New York City Subway service labels for more information.
