A little about myself

"I may be a bit of a pacifist, but I'm more of the laid-back type of person. Sometimes, I get nervous when talking to girls, but it's not that much of a problem. I'm very down-to-earth, and love to find out more about today's youth. I am currently 20 and this is my second year on Wikipedia. My goal in life is to design web pages and write fictional stories for the teenaged and adult audiences. Just watch out for the Jun Kazama instances...that's random and unrelated to the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series--just one of a character's flashbacks, that's all."

Turn-ons: New ideas, excellent stories, learning about everything in the world of pop culture, finding out about today's youth, playing Tekken 2 in the arcades with Jun Kazama (don't ask), anime, cars, English essays, nice things

Turn-offs: Violence (ESPECIALLY towards women), bad attitudes, villains, evil, vandalism, plagiarism, Internet stalkers, serial killers, thought-provoking songs, Marilyn Manson (not in general), R-rated horror movies, Sami Brady (not the actress behind her, Alison Sweeney), cheaters, Bam Margera's prankster image, Jun Kazama's rather silly death scream in Tekken 2 and Tekken Tag Tournament (T2 was just annoying, while TTT didn't finish the scream as the KO replay is shown in four angles at one time).

Favorite actors: Samuel L. Jackson, Stephen Dorff, Ben Affleck, Ryan Phillippe, Robert De Niro, Viggo Mortensen

Favorite actresses: Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, Katie Holmes, Kate Bosworth, Michelle Rodriguez

Favorite number: 25, 41, 76

Favorite color: Red, blue

If you could change anything about yourself, it would be: The fact that I keep rambling when writing stories, and reducing the length of chapters. My chapters in stories are a bit long.

About When They Got Distracted

Date of birth: Sunday, December 25, 1994

Summary: An all-genre story about the life and trials of author Marcus Bartlett which started from 1994 to now.

About Alexis Hurst

Date of birth: July 31, 2003

Summary: Los Angeles, California native Alexis Hurst strives to be an actress.

About R.A.C.E.R. 41 (レーサー41)

Date of birth: Friday, September 24, 2004

Summary: Another character from Los Angeles, California. This time, it's a troubled detective, Tracy Michaels, 32, that has lost his girlfriend to suicide. Marcus Bartlett from WTGD comes out of retirement after his 90th career racing win to coach Tracy into getting his confidence back while Tracy recollects visions of his dead girlfriend and what she liked.

Tracy's team was formed on September 24, 1992 (in which twelve years later resulted in the original). Normally one of the fastest racing teams alive, Team Hornet (in The New Challengers, this is changed to Hornet Racing) was normally ordered by the FBI to infiltrate a drug ring that a ruthless crime lord who looked a lot like the WWE's Shane McMahon had left behind. In a flashback, Tracy hears screams as the crime lord also kidnapped a few women.

But all is fair until Tracy stumbles across a beautiful, head-over-heels, drop-dead-gorgeous, Bam Margera (minus dark skater punk attire)-inspired young woman from San Francisco, California named Rhiannon Slater, Racer 76. Rhiannon got this number from her father, who raced on the track many years ago starting in 1993.

The crime lord left one secret weapon, the "Last Resort", the Rachel McAdams Racing Team, that did not debut until the very end of the book, which was defeated by Hornet.

About R.A.C.E.R. 41 2: The New Challengers/Legends (レーサー41 2: 新しい挑戦者)

Date of birth: Wednesday, September 21, 2005

"The last time Team Hornet and Team Rachel McAdams, a.k.a. the "Final Story" went head-to-head, with White Angel being taken hostage, Hornet smashed Rachel McAdams' evil plan to smithereens when Tracy Michaels and Rhiannon Slater were driving for Team Hornet (Tracy) and Pacific Sunwear (Rhiannon), as Rachel McAdams was ordered to off R.T. Jeff Hardy and R.T. Dan Marsala.

However, the Rachel McAdams Racing Team has a different story to tell. At the night of the Race of Champions, Richard Elliott; doesn't appear in Legends) tells everyone how powerful Rachel McAdams was in the final race of the season. It is then revealed that the once-powerful Rachel McAdams used an engine once used by Bam Margera (a 1997 prototype) to smoke the protagonists in this case. The Bam Margera engine was a gift from the Scott McCulloch Racing Team to make sure that Teams Hornet and PacSun were killed off. Scott McCulloch failed, as it was the other way around last year. Because of Team Hornet and Pacific Sunwear, Team Scott McCulloch was no more, the Empire that started this was arrested, and Rachel McAdams and Bam Margera were forced to settle their differences on the track."

After the defeat and arrest of the empire and the "Crime Lord with No Name", all was well, when the league offered $1,000,000 (a million dollars) to anyone who could stop the "Last Resort", the Rachel McAdams Racing Team (think Tekken with the prize money a fighter wins if s/he actually defeats Heihachi Mishima on stage 9). Teams Hornet and PacSun did this, and Tracy and Rhiannon split the money, removing the evil spell off the red and pink team. Afraid of Rhiannon, Ryan Barton retires from the League to continue his acting/singing career. The fall of Rachel McAdams and Bam Margera (they were the ones that cheated by giving the Rachel McAdams team a legend-killing engine) caused The New Challengers, and the many changes that it brought along with it.

Synopsis: One year later, Tracy and Rhiannon have stepped off the track to coach some new drivers. On Tracy's side is actor Charlie Sebastian. On Rhiannon's side is troubled teen actress Samantha Grayson nicknamed Samantha Grace, a wild child with a destructive streak, a MySpace blog, a rival who dresses like a punk, Renee Monaghan with a dark secret, and many other unhealthy things. There are other racing teams like R.T. Bam Margera, Keira Knightley, R/T Maggie Grace, R.T. Tom Cruise, R/T Marcia Cross and many more teams that were not in R.A.C.E.R. 41 alone. When Rhiannon delivered the final blow to Rachel McAdams behalf, it was the deciding factor for the evil red racing team, but it gave Rhiannon flashbacks of the Rachel McAdams Racing Team and everything else over the summer prior to the 2005-2006 season of a world racing league's championship. Also new to this story are Lost-style flashbacks which tell the reader more about a certain racing team or sponsor. This is like your ordinary The O.C., Lost, Viva La Bam, Laguna Beach, and Gilmore Girls with the 1993 runaway arcade game, Ridge Racer, made by Namco, mixed into it...

...as well as returning arcade favorites Tekken (as well as Tekken 2 and Tekken 3), Soul Edge, Sonic Championship, and Daytona USA. These games have characters making cameo appearances in this story, sort of like Lost, in the odd case of Soul Edge favorites (well, in my opinion) Hwang Sung Kyung, the sword fighting equivalent of Kazuya Mishima from Tekken, and Sophitia Alexandra, Soul Edge's answer to Nina Williams from the game's sister, first released in arcades in 1994. Soul Edge was released in arcades in 1995, by the way.

New to R.A.C.E.R. 41 is the awakening of R.T. Bam Margera, a racing team with a history of problems like the now-changed R.T. Jeff Hardy (whose colors now look a lot like RT Solvalou from R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 and Ridge Racer 64), found in book 2. Also, R.T. Jeff Hardy has gone through a serious makeover this time around. After having a falling out with the Maggie Grace Racing Team, or R/T Maggie Grace (in this league, a racing team cannot have any more than 16 characters in its name), R.T. Bam Margera is looking for a way to reinvent itself. On the day R.T. Bam Margera sped up to the other competitors, Claire could hear "Attract" from Ridge Racer to signify a new beginning for the purple and red R.T. Bam Margera that forgot all their problems in the past. With this in mind, R.T. Bam Margera vows to take down the sponsors that plagued it, which are the Tommy Flanagan and Lance Henriksen racing teams, destroyed by R.T. Jeff Hardy in 1996. R.T. Bam Margera now seeks revenge against the Cillian Murphy Racing Team, the team responsible for what they call an alleged When a Stranger Calls attack on Camilla Belle as carried out by Tommy Flanagan and Lance Henriksen.

About Screwing Up

Date of birth: Friday, February 4, 2005-spring 2005 (disk problems)

About Rachel McAdams: The Orange County Adventures

Date of birth: Summer 2005-September 21, 2005 (The formula for this story is now used in R.A.C.E.R. 41 Legends) R.T. Jeff Hardy is at it again! The evil racing team has made things harder for Team Rachel McAdams for the 2005-2006 season--they managed to get some of the racing teams (sponsors include Jim Cramer, Bam Margera, Dan Marsala, Mike Shinoda, etc.) on its side. This leaves Team Rachel McAdams powerless. So what does the team do? Fight back, of course. A new driver from Laguna Beach, California, Brooke "Windy City" Hollis (Olivia Wilde) vows to STOP R.T. Jeff Hardy at all costs before they try to take over the world in this GT Class 2-inspired racing story. It's up to Brooke to defuse every trap and surprise that R.T. Jeff Hardy sets and bring peace back to the world of racing once again. Six books of adventures in one story await the reader.

About R.A.C.E.R. 41 Adventures (Wilmington Heights)

This story is cancelled. Nicole Rush, Mona Lancaster, Jennifer Lentz, and Allison "Blaze" Chambers's story is now being used in R.A.C.E.R. 41 Legends. Wilmington Heights is an R.T. Jeff Hardy-eccentric story set in present-day Wilmington, North Carolina. Both Legends and Rachel McAdams were inspired by the Sonic the Hedgehog and Castlevania game series. It is one season after the Final Story in R.A.C.E.R. 41, the Race of Champions and R.T. Jeff Hardy has had its grip problems fixed. A new driver for the team, Nicole Rush, Racer 5, is the understudy of Jennifer Lentz, Racer 12, driving for the colorfully tasteful R.T. Gerard Way, of which their colors are colored white and black as a two tone. The new and improved R.T. Jeff Hardy, however, went from lime green and purple, to one of the Ridge Racer paint schemes, taking a page out of R.T. Solvalou's book: silver and dark blue with their famous Carolina blue as their secondary color. The story catches on to the Rachel McAdams moments when a track leader is defeated. A track leader is a racing team crowd favorite on that particular track. Think of it as a boss in a video game that you have to defeat in order to advance to the next level.

1991 in fiction

R.A.C.E.R. 41 Debuting Contestants:

R.T. Sonic Team (June 23): A friend of Hornet, known to be one of the fastest teams in the league. Colors can consist of blue/white/and red. In 2006 prior to getting the Miles "Tails" Prower sponsor (it's obvious that it's expensive), it can also be colored blue/red/white/yellow. It has a sister team, R.T. Super Sonic, that is consisted of yellow/white/and red. A legendary racer (blue/white/red) on this team is Carrie Ramona, Racer 80 (doesn't appear in The New Challengers). Taking her place in TNC is Payne Hollister, Racer 9. He is also a Jun Kazama expert, so be careful what you pull off in Tekken 2 and Tekken Tag Tournament before facing him in a VS. Mode match. Jun Kazama just might kill you.

Pac-Man Racing (also June 23): A friend of R.T. Sonic Team, but comes in only one set of colors: red and yellow. A legendary racer on this team is Reyna Campbell, Racer 79 (doesn't appear in The New Challengers). Currently on the team is Theodore Burke, Racer 8. It has a sister, Team Jun Kazama (Japan team name is Team Jun Kazama, United States team name is Racing Team Suzanne Vega ("R/T Suzanne Vega")), that is colored dark teal, white, and black. It matches the colors of Jun's karate suit in Tekken Tag Tournament. Jun Kazama has had many stories made from the team in Japan, always helping Hornet Racing (debuted in 1992) out whenever needed. Suzanne Vega is like Jun Kazama with the legendary storytelling, but debuted two years after the Jun Kazama team did in 1995 in Japan.

1992 in fiction

Hornet Racing (September 24): Formerly Team Hornet, this racing team always paints their cars red and blue (and it's not like the one from Daytona USA, either), and is the main character team of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series. Debuting in Daytona Beach, Florida, this all-rounder has very little enemies. But like Sonic the Hedgehog, whenever they see evil or injustice, they will crash the instigator (usually Alyson Hannigan or R/T Otep Shamaya). Legendary racers include Racer 1, Tracy Michaels (the hero from the prequel), and the title, Racer 41, Marcus Bartlett. Currently driving is Charlie Sebastian from Blackpool, England, Racer 3.

Patriot Racing (also September 24): This is Hornet's sister, born in Washington, D.C.. It debuted two months before former President Bill Clinton took office and was impeached later in 1998 (the first time I had a dream about Jun Kazama). A legendary driver for this team was Senator/First Lady Suzanne Marshall, Racer 50. It is currently being passed down to Caitlin Holland. She relocates to Los Angeles, California to help build a base for the team.

1993 in fiction

Team PacSun ("Pacific Sunwear") (September 9): A bright, yellow Racer aimed at beginning drivers. Race numbers like 58 (Patricia Hart), 76 (Rhiannon Slater, and currently, 70 (Samantha Grayson) have raced for this team sponsoring a popular mall retail store originally from California.

Rhiannon Slater is not like your average girl. Yeah, she's a skater punk, but dont call her that flat-out. The hero originally from San Francisco, California and now resides in Newport Beach, California, the infamous Racer 76 has had a lot of stories told about her. Like Kate Bosworth, Rhiannon also has one brown eye and one hazel eye, resulting in some medical condition the author who created her doesn't know about. She's also known to idolize Dan Marsala of Story of the Year and Alex Varkatzas from Atreyu--though she doesn't like metalcore.

Now Samantha Grayson is a different story. Debuting on September 21, 2005 as Racer 70, she has her personal problems with another Racer, Racer 14, Vladimir "Russ" Cimarron, whom she forced to retire from R.T. Jeff Hardy, resulting in a replacement driver for that team in late December 2005 (Racer 5, Nicole Rush). Her mixed punk and goth elements explain how Samantha, like Rhiannon, is also not like your average girl. And Rhiannon Slater has never trained a wild child before to win races. Samantha's mostly kind-hearted before taking her anger out on evil Racers with bad attitudes (mostly Racer 14) who she's fed up with.

Team Hot Topic (also September 9): Team PacSun's evil double, and is also known to race black and red cars with red wheels. Their Toyota Supra has nearly 650 bhp, and they currently changed their race number from 36 to 00 as a Full Racing Team from a Solo Racing Team. A Solo team is a team that has one primary driver. A Full team consists of alternating drivers.

Chapter 1: 1994: The Beginning

Starts "When They Got Distracted"

R.A.C.E.R. 41 contestants based in 1994:

13th Racing Team (January 20, Romania): One of the fastest teams in the league and the king of evil. 13th Racing strikes fear into the hearts of many Racers around the world. It has a gold devil silhouette on its hood (must be inspired by Devil Kazuya whatsoever), and red wheels. The current incarnation is a Porsche 911, driven by Jonathan Cross, Racer 66. Legendary racers include Grant Mahogany and Christian "Dennis" Schultz, both alternating Racer 2. It has a rival, White Angel (the legendary hero), that has better grip (and the fastest speed and acceleration in the series) than 13th Racing.

In the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series, 13th Racing is known to stir up trouble from hiring teams like T-RE Racing Team ("Lillix Racing") and Flyleaf Racing ("R/T Lacey Mosley") to corrupt innocent racing teams, and of course, made Racing Team Bam Margera ("R.T. Bam Margera") very evil in an attempt to damage Racing Team Jeff Hardy ("R.T. Jeff Hardy")'s reputation and dynasty they have created since 1996, their debut (R.T. Bam Margera (1st incarnation) debuted in 1997).

Nathan Fillion (April 24): A white car with orange secondary colors. It is said to have taken these colors from the boss that kidnapped Rachel McPherson, President William McPherson's daughter in Time Crisis, as ordered by Wild Dog. His name is Sherudo Garo, and his suit has the same colors. Sherudo did not debut until 1996, the year the arcade game hit shopping malls, one year after Tekken 2 was released.

Team Garfield ("Garfield Racing") (June 19): An orange, red, and white team sponsoring everyone's favorite lasagna eating, sleeping, dog-kicking, 'SPLUT!'-recieving, Jon Arbuckle-terrorizing orange cat created by Jim Davis that is also a friend with Hornet and Patriot Racing, R.T. Sonic Team and Pac-Man Racing. In 1994, Garfield Racing was the Knuckles the Echidna of Sonic and Pac-Man's stories. After either Sonic or Pac-Man defeated Willow (who was evil until 2002), Garfield would suddenly appear, wrecking someone's race pattern. This was an attempt by Devil ("13th Racing") to trick Garfield into thinking that Sonic and Pac-Man had came to steal the Champion Trophies (which in turn with that storyline, is similar to Sonic the Hedgehog's Chaos Emeralds), a la Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Champion Trophies are what makes the R.A.C.E.R. 41 league a little stronger, and with the more Champion Trophies won, the more race event types and class divisions open up. Currently driving for this team is a newcomer that appeared in The New Challengers, Racer 6, Rick Radcliff, who is a friend to Charlie, Theodore, Payne, Wendie, Sheldon, and Samantha. Rick, like Wendie and newcomer Sheldon Cain, hails from New York, New York.

Regis Philbin (August 25): Does anyone remember Galaga RT Prid's from the Ridge Racer games? Well, the Regis team has a paint scheme just like them. Unlike Prid's giving you more stability, Regis gives you more speed.

Ellen DeGeneres (January 26): Anyone remember Galaga RT Carrot from the Ridge Racer games? The Ellen team has better handling than the Regis team, and focus more on grip than speed.

R.T. Jim Cramer (October 11): If you remember RT Ryukyu (the red and green car) from Ridge Racer, then you should have no problem getting to know R.T. Jim Cramer. A racing team on the hunt for a bull market (think NASDAQ or NYSE), this team hasn't really fallen back on hard times. In fact, like RT Ryukyu, R.T. Jim Cramer trades speed and acceleration for handling and grip, as well as shares a red and lime green paint scheme, similar to the red and white F/A Racing car (#3) from the Ridge Racer games. Like the Elisha Cuthbert team (see 2002), this team is normally the best choice for beginning Racers before they move on to the more high-powered teams in following seasons.

ALH Racing Team ("Alyson Hannigan") (December 7): The antagonist of Hornet, Sonic, Pac-Man, Jeff Hardy, and Bam Margera's stories. Donning a paint scheme from what's said to be a Le Mans Porsche from Rage Racer, Alyson Hannigan can ruin teams' lives in seconds flat. When they stumble across Charlie in TNC, the driver is a little scared. The Alyson Hannigan team is also scared of Team Jun Kazama/R/T Suzanne Vega, as they can accelerate much faster and keep stable grip as well.

MMH Racing Club ("Mariska Hargitay"), (November 11): A loyal friend of Hornet Racing, these guys are the Nina Williams of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series, but they can get a little bigheaded at times. They have a light blue/red/white paint scheme. A legendary driver coming from this team was Racer 16, Amanda Sterling, the mother of Alicia Sterling, and Alyssa Sterling (the oldest one, looking a lot like Nicki Aycox). Currently continuing her mother's tradition is Alicia Sterling, Racer 43. Alicia appears in The New Challengers and future sequels.

Racing Team Ron Perlman ("R.T. Ron Perlman"), (October 20): Back in 1994, this team resembled RT Xevious Red from the Ridge Racer series, but when the JGTC invasion came at around 2000, Mr. Perlman's colors were changed around to mimic the Castrol Mugen NSX #16 car that raced in the JGTC. It took different names as R.T. Tony Todd and most recently, R.T. Mark Hunter (Mark's the lead vocalist of Chimaira), but both of those names are sponsors on this team's car. What's really nice is like RT Xevious Red and RT Yellow Solvalou, R.T. Ron Perlman has some nice acceleration in the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series, but for all around challenges, Ron Perlman can't beat Bam Margera.

Wendie Phoenix dreamed of an evil character played by Ron Perlman (probably an evil, dark version of Mr. Lancer from Danny Phantom) that gives young women "detention" by kidnapping them (think Law & Order: SVU), but out of nowhere, a shadowy figure played by Shannyn Sossamon knocks Ron Perlman unconscious, beating Wendie, and freeing the young women. This furthermore allows Wendie to arrest the evil man for attempted kidnapping, which also means R.T. Ron Perlman could be in trouble from the newly arrived Shannyn Sossamon team, the Anna Williams of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series, colored burgundy, purple, and black (see 1997).

Racing Team Meryl Streep ("R/T Meryl Streep"), October 20): Meryl Streep resembles RT Xevious Green from the Ridge Racer series (the one with the top speed like RT Blue Solvalou), and was part of the Ridge Racer Rainbow in The New Challengers. In R.A.C.E.R. 41, this took other names such as R.T. David Hunt and R.T. Brad Dourif, and most recently, R/T Brett Hestla (Brett's the lead vocalist of Dark New Day), but like R.T. Ron Perlman, all these names are sponsors on this team's car. They are friends with the Regis Philbin and Ellen DeGeneres teams, also based in 1994.

The story: December 25, 1994 was the year I received my first computer: a Brother WP-3410 word processor. But six months ago to that day, Kurt Cobain dies of a suicide attempt. Fans were introduced to Trent Reznor of the band Nine Inch Nails--or more came along the way. Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, California, former football star O.J. Simpson was accused of allegedly killing his girlfriend.

Chapter 2: 1995: Where Are We?

R.A.C.E.R. 41 contestants debuting in 1995:

White Angel (April 21, Athens, Greece): Like its demonstrated ancestors in Ridge Racer Revolution and Ridge Racer 64, this is the fastest team in the league. Threatened by Rachel McAdams for defeat, Hornet Racing protects this team from extinction. For Rachel McAdams' Randy Orton/Shane McMahon-like behavior, White Angel sped past the red and pink team during a lap and held the position in the Race of Champions, the last race ever in a R.A.C.E.R. 41 story before Summer Break. Legendary drivers included Racer 31, Elyse "Elise" Lively and Racer 98, Norman Stiles, both debuting in 1994 while they were on 13th Racing (see 1994 of my page), now driven by Racer 66, Jonathan Cross. Seven years later in 2002, Racer 69, Jill Durance filled in for the legendary Norman Stiles before Norman came back in 2003. Elise and Norman's numbers remain intact to this day, as they're still around. Both are friends with Tricia's father, Bryan Cohen, the "original" Racer 76 (before Rhiannon Slater took it in 2003).

It is also rumored that Jun Kazama drove for this team (#0), but Jun (and the Ridge Racer White Angel) was created by Namco, which also has a team like this in the Ridge Racer games, but is a tad slower than the R.A.C.E.R. 41 White Angel. As Jun may not have anything to do with R.A.C.E.R. 41, she is constantly seen driving this car in Payne's "racing" dreams at night.

Racing Team Jill Hennessy ("R.T. J. Hennessy") (November 25): Remember RT Nebulasray from the Ridge Racer games? This team is just like that, but grip is terrible, and top speed and acceleration is a lot higher than expected. Currently driving is newcomer Waverly Burton, Racer 11.

Very little is known about Waverly at this point. With her trendy style, she was actually supposed to be a clone of Marshall Roberts from the prequel, but something happened. Alicia Sterling, Amanda's youngest daughter, is friends with her since they went to the same high school together. Both graduated. While Kelly Stables, the actress Waverly resembles is about Avril Lavigne's height of 5'1", Waverly is 5'3" (Alicia is 5'4"). Waverly is different from Alicia, whereas Waverly has the tendency to dress like an extreme punk, whose elements are much like goth-style elements, but a little different. Alicia stays neutral to her skater punk-style. Like Rhiannon, Alicia is laid-back as well as Waverly. But their friendship is about to go to a whole new level by The New Generation.

Team Jun Kazama (alias name)/Racing Team Suzanne Vega ("R/T Suzanne Vega") (real racing team name) (September 29)--see Pac-Man Racing. R/T Suzanne Vega was dubbed ("Team Jun Kazama") by Australian race journalists because of its winning streak and the ability to crush Racers showing unsportsmanlike conduct since 1995. Legendary drivers included both alternating Racer 44s, Wendie Phoenix and Lorraine Weston. Lorraine came to this team in 1995 while Wendie in 1996. Also driving is Sheldon Cain, also alternating Racer 44.

But on a Law & Order: SVU episode "Taken", Olivia Benson arrests a southern girl from Racing Team Jeff Hardy ("R.T. Jeff Hardy")'s (born in 1996) home state of North Carolina, and this affects Wendie as she sees Fake Shane McMahon #2 get his arms broken by a fellow Tekken character named Jun Kazama (played by Laura Breckenridge) just as he is about to drag the southern girl off to detention (as with the R.T. Ron Perlman story). She gets visits from legends on the track daily, who have been racing from about 1993 to 1998 because of this. But there's a problem. As Wendie gets advice from a southerner from New York, she hears Jun Kazama screaming in pain. So what's she to do? Race to make the world a better place for women rather than pursuing criminal offenders with her partner Sheldon Cain.

With the WP-3410 out of the way, it was time for me to learn something new. I was introduced to the legend of Dracula. But ten years later after my second chickenpox vaccination, the legend of Dracula came back to me. Leslie Nielsen played Dracula rather poorly in a film (actually, it was supposed to be a comedy). Meanwhile, in June of 1995: Wheel Of Fortune made the move to Sony Pictures Studios after six years (1989-1995) at CBS Television City, Studio 33 (a.k.a. The "Bob Barker" Studio as of 1998). However, a new video game system would cause many gamers to drop jaws: the Sony PlayStation. More on that later.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. On September 29, 1995, To push start only 1 play--ah, forget it., Namco introduced the world to Jun Kazama, a young woman from the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan that is more of a pacifist. A pacifist is a person that does not wish to fight. This character also cared about wildlife, liked basking in the forest, hated deception, and one of her hobbies was birdwatching. She made her debut, as always, in Tekken 2, but this was a different version of the arcade game, nicknamed "Ver. B". She was 22 years of age, weighed in at 5'7", and 119 lbs. Little did Tekken fans know that many years later, she's STILL a popular character to play with! There has been strong rumors going around that she will make a grand return in Tekken 6, but I pray that this isn't true.

Chapter 3: 1996: A Natural Result

R.A.C.E.R. 41 contestants debuting in 1996:

Racing Team Jeff Hardy ("R.T. Jeff Hardy") (August 31): Anyone who watches WWE or TNA wrestling, or invests in WWE stocks under NYSE might want to file this under "Jeff Hardy's Weirdest Moments", because this team is phenomenal. A close friend and rival of Hornet Racing, they are currently in their 10th year and used to be a drift team before Rachel McAdams struck in the 2005 Race of Champions. Now a grip team (and being rejuvenated), a legendary driver was Marshall Roberts (now on the Hot Topic full team), Racer 94. Another Racer, Vladimir "Russ" Cimarron, Racer 14, also was on this team before wild-child punk kid Samantha Grayson kept wrecking his race pattern, forcing him to ultimately retire. He's on the Full Team explained in the parentheses. Nicole Rush, Racer 5, is taking their place on R.T. Jeff Hardy. They used to have an "Xtreme" lime green and purple, but in April of 2005 when the UNC Tar Heels beat the Illinois Fighting Illini in the NCAA men's finals of March Madness, 75-70, R.T. Jeff Hardy wanted to be evil as possible and wear Carolina blue, but the author wouldn't let them get away with that. This led to R.T. Jeff Hardy donning the same paint scheme as RT Solvalou from R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, silver/dark blue/white.

Another legendary Racer, Racer 9 (in 1997 before Payne Hollister took this number eight years later), Amanda Sterling, the mother of Alyssa and Alicia, used to drive for this team in their "evil" years (they actually thought that Jun Kazama didn't exist once), in which her biggest rival, Bryan Cohen saved the day from the evil team on the then-heroic Racing Team Bam Margera 1 ("Bam Margera '90s"). Both retired in 2000. In 1997, R.T. Jeff Hardy's colors closely resembled the first-place car in level three of Rage Racer's championship mode, which also has the same race number of 9, but the team used a different car from the one used in the game. This R.T. Jeff Hardy is known as "Jeff Hardy '90s". The current R.T. Jeff Hardy now has a silver scheme, and its closest rival, Racing Team Bam Margera (now "R.T. Bam Margera") is the exact opposite.

Racing Team Dan Marsala ("R.T. Dan Marsala") (October 27): A team that is said to have been drifting all over the place, but in The New Challengers, the grip problem is now fixed. After having a falling out with the Rachel McAdams (see 2002 section of my page) team, they are slowly rethinking things.

Racing Team Jewel Staite ("R/T Jewel Staite") (September 9): Remember RT Bosconian from the Ridge Racer games? Unlike its white and blue counterpart, Team Jill Hennessy ("R.T. J. Hennessy) with the really bad grip, the white and red Jewel Staite team wants to maximize your grip, not your speed. It is said that the Jewel Staite team (sponsoring Space Cases, Firefly, the Stargate series, as well as 50% of Star Trek) is raced by two teenagers who just graduated from high school (in 2005) and are known for playing odd couples in movies (they're best friends in real life): Racer 2, alterating newcomer David Reynolds and newcomer Amanda Hollister. Sometimes when David is driving, Amanda will navigate. If Amanda is driving, then it is reversed.

Now, David does have a girlfriend, Angela "Angie" Malone; she debuts in Chapter 32, when David thinks she is kidnapped. Will David rescue his girlfriend with the help of Hornet Racing and R/T Jewel Staite? Only time will tell.

Racing Team Mike Shinoda ("R/T Mike Shinoda") or ("R.T. Linkin Park") (October 16): R.T. Dan Marsala's evil double (well, not really), but can accelerate a lot faster than the vintage Corvette R.T. Dan Marsala--since the car used here is a Mazda RX-7 (2002 Spirit R Type A) with nearly 600 bhp. Their paint scheme is gray and red with several youthful symbols (including a huge robot on the hood!) on the car. Currently driving is alternating Racer 21s, Skyler Matthews and Ryan Starlet, both detectives.

Now, Skyler is not your average detective like cop shows portray them. When in his division (for an example, watch Robert Goren on Law & Order: Criminal Intent), there are times where a woman (preferably a female villain in this case) will get arrested for murder. When that happens, some of them are screaming like bloody murder, which makes his partner Ryan Starlet happy that he did something right for a change.

...but that's ALSO what Skyler's dreams HATE at night. Even outside the dreams, he suffers from a serious phobia called parthenophobia, or in other words, is the fear of beautiful women. In his dreams contain running gags in which the setting could be anywhere, from hotels, banks, bowling alleys, restaurants, movie theaters, gas stations, department stores to shopping malls where he will get scared. A prime example of a girl appearing in his dreams is Kristin Lambert, Kyle's little sister, and a 19-year old young woman. In dreams, he is also afraid of what appears to be the leader of a girl army, Rachel Maguire (Racer #19, shares with Patrick Irvin) sent to eliminate him and other mean detectives at the behest of another skater punk, Shelly Tisdale (Racer #14), which is a lot deadlier than Rachel in Skyler's dreams. A sign to watch for are touring buses which carry tourists, as well as unsuspecting girls that are in Shelly's army that she asked Rachel to lead. These dreams are telling Skyler to change something about himself. That way, he'd live a better life and not be afraid of girls who dress in a skater fashion. It's the goth-fashioned young women that creep him out, though Hot Topic is to blame for selling these types of clothes. Lacey Mosley and Amy Lee are prime examples of artists who dress in this fashion. Skyler races to make the world more peaceful without being distracted by women. He does not wish to hurt them. He wants to make sure they are in a peaceful place without letting his emotions get the best of him.

Racing Team Deborah Cox ("R.T. Deborah Cox") (December 9): The Wang Jinrei of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series (hence the rivaling of R/T Suzanne Vega as Wang is Jun's mid-boss in Tekken 2), whilst the sponsor, like Suzanne Vega, their rival, produces beautiful music, though it's in the rhythm & blues section while Suzanne Vega does pop ('80s music). Every time in a Winner Stays On tournament, Deborah has always lost to Suzanne in the finals before Suzanne was squashed by Hornet before the real final against Devil ("13th Racing"). But what new adventures will this amazing team find?

The time had come to reinvent myself, so I started watching sci-fi programs like Space Cases. One of the cadets on the show, Catalina had a special power called a shriek wave that could annoy an enemy OR break open an object. The sound wasn't annoying (in other words, like a CERTAIN character from Tekken 2 (see 2006), but cool. The cool part about it is that an enemy had to cover his or her ears during the attack. Meanwhile, at Sony Pictures Studios, the producers of Wheel of Fortune decided to make a change in 1996: They introduced the Friday Finals rule, replacing the old returning champion rule first applied at CBS Television City in 1989. In Atlanta, Georgia, however, the FBI had arrested the Unabomber, and in Japan, Nissan decided to cut its 300ZX from its lineup of cars to buy. Six years later, something new would happen...

Oh, and this was the first time Jun Kazama came into play in Tekken 2 late December of 1996, but the game was playable on a demo disc and you could only select two characters. I also have a small gripe about the "Arranged" version of Jun's stage song. It sounds a little like Tom's Diner by Suzanne Vega, which I find a little funny, but keeps the arcade chorus lines--and the tempo slows down with new instruments and a chorus singing in harmony as well. The music track is called "Morning Field" (not the stage name), and if you play on her stage, you will see grasslands, few small buildings, and a castle if, for instance, Jun is constantly moving around while you're trying to fight her. This game had atmosphere, that's all I have to say.

Chapter 4: 1997-1998: Jeff Hardy debuted where, now?

R.A.C.E.R. 41 contestants debuting in 1997 and 1998:

Racing Team Bam Margera ("R.T. Bam Margera") (September 28, 1997, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) (1st incarnation): The Lei Wulong of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series (1st version--Team Bam can be seen performing 360s and accelerates VERY fast, yet has very weak grip (2nd incarnation)). This R.T. Bam Margera resembles the opening car from the PSOne hit Rage Racer, the Assoluto Fatalita (which is also the car with the hood that Reiko Nagase sat on for a few seconds in the intro)--and had a grudge against Racing Team Jeff Hardy ("R.T. Jeff Hardy") in their first year--when they were evil. In fact, a legendary Racer 76 before Rhiannon Slater, Bryan Cohen used to race on R.T. Bam Margera, and beat the then ex-R.T. Jeff Hardy driver, Racer 9, Amanda Sterling (for 4 years, she was Racer 16 before that season. Amanda debuted in 1993) on the Liberty Street Zone, shaped like Rage Racer's Lakeside Gate course. Many years pass and Amanda has changed her evil ways in the '90s. Both Bryan and Amanda have daughters. Bryan's daughter is in the 2006 section of this page, and she is Racer 38.

Racing Team Clare Kramer ("R/T Clare Kramer") (October 20, 1998, Atlanta, Georgia): This racing team is friends with Caleb ("Nathan Fillion"), both racing the Ford Mustang (Glory: SVT Mustang Cobra R, Caleb: 2005 Mustang GT), in which they have one major enemy (they're afraid of (nope, it's definitely NOT Jun Kazama!), R.T. Sonic Team, as they will zip past them unexpectedly if an injustice is seen. And like Jun Kazama/Suzanne Vega, they will cause Glory or Caleb to spin out or even crash, Daytona USA-style, possibly causing a nasty pile-up on the track. Currently, Racer 64, Travis Forrester is trying to find Racer 60, Katie Woodruff, similar to Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams' on-screen romance in the 2004 film The Notebook, but they hope it is without all the wrecking and crashing and whatnot.

R/T Otep Shamaya (first incarnation, date of debut unknown, second incarnation in 2001) The other half of the antagonists in some of the popular racing teams' stories. Very little is known about this team right now.

T-RE Racing Club ("Lillix Racing") (May 23, 1997): Like R.T. Pink Mappy from the Ridge Racer series, but has an extra purple paint scheme. In The New Challengers, this racing team corrupts all the other racing teams, and hooks up with R/T Lacey Mosley (7th opponent, Class X) to beat Team Elisha Cuthbert's best time on the Sunny Beach (Ridge Racer V)-mistaken Beverly Drive Zone track (located in Los Angeles, California). Don't let its evil fool you--it was mostly a hero when it came into the league in the year of the Rage Racer, too. But if the team that Lacey-Lee and Tasha-Ray Evin supports teamed up with the evil Flyleaf team, how are Hornet and friends going to turn their teammate against the evil in time for the fast and furious Z-Class events? Only time will tell when the Tasha-Ray team will understand what Hornet is trying to prove to them that 13th Racing ("Devil") is evil.

Veronica Mandel, Racer 56, is new to the sport. Hailing from Tucson, Arizona, she moves to Los Angeles, California after graduation from high school. She is sometimes known for dressing like a rock star, dressing in punk fashion, ranging from skater attire to punk attire. She's also an actress that stars in a FOX sitcom. New adventures await Veronica in The New Generation.

Racing Team Chris Brown ("R.T. Chris Brown") (September 15, 1998): A bronze, black, and red racing team hailing from Los Gatos, California. Like fellow competitor Racing Team Jacoby Shaddix ("R.T. J.Shaddix") (from Vacaville, California), both alternative bands have become a hit across the United States--as well as all of California. Both Chris and Jacoby are on hiatus in The New Challengers, as well as their close friend, the Amy Lee team, debuting two months later, but with a teal scheme (not like Team Jun Kazama). It is uncertain when these teams will return in The New Generation.

Shannyn Sossamon Racing Team ("Shannyn Sossamon") (October 3, 1997, Honolulu, Hawaii): The Anna Williams and Eddy Gordo/Christie Monteiro of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series (Anna in maneuverability, Eddy/Christie in speed and unorthodox handling--explains why Team Shannyn performs cool racing manuevers such as fishtails and drifts hurriedly during races). The Shannyn team is seductive and sneaky as well as colored burgundy and black. Its sponsor is seen playing characters in running gags making the lives of characters played by Martin Cummins, Harry Connick, Jr., Ron Perlman, Shane McMahon, and others' playing villains in movies a nightmare, ranging from Tekken-style attacks to throwing people off buildings while donning very sexy clothing. The last time R.T. Bam Margera and this sneaky competitor went head to head (like the first place car in Class 5 of Rage Racer), Bam smashed Shannyn's sneaky plan to smithereens (as well as held off the Alyson Hannigan team to become champion), freeing them of the curse put on them by Devil ("13th Racing") in 1997, ultimately becoming friends. The racing team also had running gags, causing trouble for the racing teams with a "villain" style, and ultimately wants revenge against Devil. The Christie Monteiro trait comes from the team being formed in Hawaii and trained in Brazil, Monaco, Laguna and Newport Beach and Fiji. They love Ridge Racer's Sunny Beach and the "Novice" course from Ridge Racer Revolution, as they are both on beaches. Currently driving is a former legend, Racer 15, Michelle Hudson.

Billy Campbell Racing Team ("Billy Campbell"), (May 15, 1997, Chicago, Illinois): The Lee Chaolan of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series. This is a friendly rival in Racing Team Bam Margera ("R.T. Bam Margera") and Racing Team Jeff Hardy ("R.T. Jeff Hardy")'s stories, though like the Shannyn Sossamon Racing Team, Team Billy Campbell is nine times out of ten always being embarrassed by Hornet Racing in a series of running gags, which come in a variety of ways, ranging from a Hornet driver slamming into their trucks' rear panels to spin them out to even being steered into walls. Inspired by the actions of Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith, they are true sponsors on their racing trucks (inspired by the Lizard Hijack in Rage Racer--which was manual only), which ALL of their trucks meet GT500 Class regulations. Not resting on their laurels, they are rather interested in winning first place rather than cheering Shawnee Smith or any other actor playing villains tormenting their victims in movies. If Shannyn Sossamon found out about this, they'd steer 'em into walls, and that CAN'T be good at all. Though Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith do not have any racing teams named after them, the Billy Campbell team takes care of all the sponsors sponsoring the actors in movies playing villains. This is also the racing team for the legendary Star Trek series, when they decide to play the hero rather than the villain, which sucks since Shannyn Sossamon would be chasing after them right now until they're dead last and Racer 15 in that case takes the lead. Currently driving is a former legend, Racer 72, Gordon Chase.

In June of 2006, a fellow Linkin Park racing team driver, Skyler Matthews, recalls a dream about NCIS he had in March, and typically, the episode "Bait" where the NCIS team had to stop an unstable student from detonating a bomb attached to him while taking other students hostage at a Quantico base high school. Tempers from the Shannyn Sossamon team are being shown, and arrows were being pointed squarely at Jeff Hardy and Bam Margera's teams for inspiring the character played by Welch to commit such a heinous act. This also explains why Shannyn Sossamon's team wants Jeff Hardy and Bam Margera's teams to pay the price--by steering them into walls. While it can be said that Michael Welch is one of Billy Campbell's "expensive" sponsors ("villain" side), the sponsor winds up embarrassed by Hornet Racing as they always do to the Shannyn Sossamon team as opposed to what's being called running gags in a variety of ways, ranging from being spun out or steered into walls. Either Michael Welch is recieving the wrong message, or could Devil ("13th Racing") be behind the sneak attack? It's up to Billy Campbell to free their expensive sponsor from the curse of Devil as well. It also serves as a perfect time for Angel ("White Angel") to come back and defeat Devil.

Google Racing Team ("R/T Google Squad") (June 19, 1998, Sunnyvale, California): Google, the world's famous search engine, is new to the sport and is an economical racing team that will NOT go above 6000 rpm. They also participate in RT500 Class events (WRC-style events with Ridge Racer-type engine classes), which involves dirt and snow. Debuting on the year of the Rage Racer (1997-1998), most drivers aren't that notable like Racer 49, the Jun Kazama (headband)-mistaken Rebecca Sheldon, who debuted early 2006 on an R-Class event held in Tokyo, Japan.

Rebecca Sheldon and Jun Kazama are two different people. Though Jun is Japanese, Rebecca is American, and has a headband that goes on the hair. She is good friends with Racer 51, Cheryl Milian, whose racing team, Racing Team Yahoo! Club ("R/T Yahoo! Club") debuted one month before the Google team. When Cheryl gets on the track, she dons a headband similar to Michelle Chang from Tekken and Tekken 2--the type that does NOT go on the hair, but on the forehead. New adventures await the two in The New Generation.

Alexis Bledel Racing Team ("A. Bledel Racing") (September 16, 1998, San Antonio, Texas): The green lizard Alex of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series. Acceleration is a bit wild like RT Xevious Red from the Ridge Racer games (the early ones). Alexis, like Google and Yahoo!, is new to the sport.

Ashleigh Hobbs is new to the sport just as Miles Wendell retired his race number of 7 at the end of the R-Class to work on (executive assistant) the 1997-debuted Racing Team Bam Margera ("R.T. Bam Margera"), once a rival to Racing Team Jeff Hardy ("R.T. Jeff Hardy"). Hailing from West Chester, Pennsylvania, Ashleigh likes to dress trendy, yet she is an actress on a fictional version of As the World Turns. Team Alexis Bledel got their training by racing against the two teams one day in 1998, not knowing that they take no mercy from anyone. Ever. Like RT Xevious Red, Alexis Bledel outran both. This is also a team that races a truck rather than a car. It is the Toyota Tacoma X-Runner, tuned up to 550 bhp. New adventures await Ashleigh in The New Generation like her little sister, Camilla.

Rachel Bilson Racing Team ("R. Bilson Racing") (August 25, 1998, Los Angeles, California): The brown kangaroo, Roger of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series. Quick acceleration and top speeds are the norm for this team, but grip is below average. Summer, like Alexis, is also new to the sport.

Heather Bristow is also new to the sport (debuted in The New Challengers), with a race number of 36. Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she is an actress starring in big movies. Heather is also friends with Ashleigh, whose character played a teen serial killer on As the World Turns, and appears in a dream Ashleigh has after seeing a young woman named Erika Lundgren fall off a building in an episode of The 4400--but Erika is NOT a 4400! Alexis and Summer race to make things right, and make sure that Devil ("13th Racing") doesn't have any sneaky tricks up their sleeve.

In February of 1997, however, Wheel of Fortune got a brand new new puzzle board. Instead of turning letters, Vanna can now touch the letters, since the trilons were now computerized screens. It turned to neon in the fall of 2003, six years later. I also played the full version of Ridge Racer Revolution for the first time, though. There's not much to say here, but at least 1997 was the beginning of a new era.

Chapter 5: 1999: The age of maturity

Introduced to Regis Philbin

Columbine High School massacre takes place.

There is nothing to say here! 1999 was just a terrible year in general. The trend with the name I forgot, and Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold wrecking Columbine High School...well to paraphrase Jim Cramer from Mad Money, 1999 was a train wreck, a house of pain, a man out the window, and a triple sell all at the same time.

Oh yeah, and don't expect Marilyn Manson to be getting away just yet. Most people (like the 2002 Michael Moore film Bowling for Columbine) have blamed him for what the shooters were influenced by. And no, Bam Margera wasn't to blame...see four years later.

Chapter 5: 2000: The Jeff Hardy era

When They Got Distracted moves to New York City after six years.

R.A.C.E.R. 41 contestants debuted in 2000:

Racing Team Bam Margera ("R.T. Bam Margera") September 28, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (2nd incarnation): The wild and wacky racing team of the bunch. Trading grip for 13th Racing-like acceleration and top speed, R.T. Bam Margera is R.T. Jeff Hardy's evil double, dressed in a gothic purple and red. Legendary racers include Roger Gunther and Cameron Taylor, both alternating Racer 33. Claire Monaco takes their place as Racer 33 in The New Challengers, in which R.T. Bam Margera debuted as well.

Another driver for this team was Cheryl Milian, Racer 51, once seen over the summer when Preston Hawke retired this number at the end of the 2004-2005 season. Cheryl is my answer to Michelle Chang from Tekken, but some clothing items were removed except for the brown fur jacket. She is a very close friend with Rebecca Sheldon, my answer to Jun Kazama, but Rebecca is Racer 49. This Bam Margera follows the 1997 incarnation as well, as everything was reversed in the 2000s. Well, after R.T. Jeff Hardy got their revenge in a 2000 race against R.T. Bam Margera, the red and white became purple and red. It's never too late for R.T. Bam Margera to go back to red and white--most racing fans have to check back because they'll never know when R.T. Bam Margera and R.T. Jeff Hardy go back to the 1990s. Both of their stories are NOT over yet! ;-)

Team Flyleaf ("R/T Lacey Mosley") October 27, San Antonio, Texas: In Team Battles in the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series, they team up with a close friend, T-RE Racing Club ("Lillix Racing"), but is evil--VERY evil. Resembling an eerie version of Rachel McAdams Racing Team ("Rachel McAdams") with its burgundy and black paint scheme with loads of skulls and leaves (and blood-red spokes), this evil team is also one of Hornet's adversaries that Hornet loves to kill. Like Alyson Hannigan and Cillian Murphy, this team is also afraid of Racing Team Suzanne "Team Jun Kazama" Vega ("R/T Suzanne Vega"), as Jun/Suzanne will spin this team out.

Many racing fans in the story argue that this team handles like a new character from the game Sonic Riders, Wave the Swallow--but that title respectively belongs to the Elisha Cuthbert team (founded two years later). It has the athletic styles of Tony Hawk and Bam Margera's skateboarding speed and tricks combined with Jeff Hardy's WWE/TNA in-ring ability, with 26.5% of the rival of Miles "Tails" Prower (in a funny YouTube video of a Sonic Riders dub, Tails calls Wave "that bird (bleeped out)") in SR's attributes (as well as Dr. Eggman's tricky handling). So, not to confuse this team with the Elisha Cuthbert one, both of these teams have all-around handling and grip--basically, they just want to maximize your steering, though Elisha Cuthbert is a bit faster.

Racing Team Brad Arnold ("R.T. Brad Arnold") September 19, Clinton, Mississippi: A racing team like its friend, R.T. Gerard Way, but when it comes to tuning up, this is reversed, as R.T. Brad Arnold will go for the highest level of tuning, sort of like when 13th Racing tries to beat White Angel but fails every year when seasons happen. R.T. Brad Arnold has appeared in all the R.A.C.E.R. 41 stories, but there is little word when they will return for The New Generation.

Cillian Murphy Racing Team ("Cillian Murphy") May 25, Dublin, Ireland: Donning a paint scheme similar to NASCAR and Super GT (formerly JGTC) (#20 Home Depot Chevrolet Monte Carlo (used in 2005) and the #38 au Cerumo Toyota Supra (used in 2003)), this team is one of the fastest in the league. However, like Alyson Hannigan, their biggest enemy is R/T Suzanne Vega/Team Jun Kazama, as Suzanne/Jun will scare them until they go off the course and possibly into a wall. Some people have told drivers on this team that Suzanne Vega (or Jun Kazama) just does not like them. That's not the case with Cillian Murphy. It seems that R/T Suzanne Vega/Team Jun Kazama could be flirting with this team. Who knows what adventures Cillian will have next?

Now 14, I was wondering about the RAW and SmackDown! brands, as a new person would be introduced to me. He hailed from Cameron, North Carolina, at 6 ft. 2 inches, and weight nearly 215 pounds. His name was Jeff Hardy, and he could fly around the wrestling ring from the top rope. I had started high school for the first time and would not get out until five years later.

Chapter 6: 2001: The tragic attack

I'd like to dedicate this chapter to the families who lost their loved ones on 9/11.

September 11, 2001: Two planes crash into the World Trade Center in New York, one into the Pentagon, and one in Pennsylvania.

This first paragraph focyses on the pathetic things Osama bin Laden has done to our country since 1993. There is also no chapter in 1993 because that's where When They Got Distracted (my work) is believed to have been started, but in early 1994, as it was still winter 1993. The September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks have upset many people across the United States, and I do NOT wish to go any further in the terrorist attacks.

Now, with the talk about Jeff Hardy cooling down a tad, (WWE was WWF before 2002), the sports entertainment world would be shocked by the demeaning announcement of Vince McMahon's children, Shane McMahon, then 31, and Stephanie McMahon, then 25, that they would be forming a stable called The Alliance. Luckily, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson dismantled that stable, meaning that the ECW owner, Paul Heyman would be dragged out of the arena and replaced. Everything was a little meaner in high school, until...

Chapter 7: 2002: Finding myself

R.A.C.E.R. 41 contestants debuting in 2002:

Rachel McAdams Racing Team ("Rachel McAdams") (October 7, Monte Carlo, Monaco): The main villain in the original R.A.C.E.R. 41, driven by Ryan J. Barton, Racer 23, before friendlier Brooke Hollis, Racer 24, took her place. Once cheated by R.T. Bam Margera for an engine that went super fast, Bam's plan failed (as well as hurt Rachel), and Hornet made them come into their own for the next season.

Team Rachel McAdams is considered the Uriko Nonomura/Ling Xiaoyu/Jun Kazama of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series after giving up its "evil" burgundy secondary color, replacing it with the "hero" cotton candy pink, similar to RT Pink Mappy of the Ridge Racer series, and helping Racing Team Bam Margera ("R.T. Bam Margera") snap out of evil conditions, and assisting them in using their racing techniques for "hero" tactics. The "hero" side came when an old friend, Shannyn Sossamon Racing Team returned (didn't appear in Classic R.A.C.E.R. 41) to help R.T. Bam Margera out.

Brooke Hollis is new to the auto racing sport, 21 years of age (in The New Challengers), and on the friendly side. She hates racing teams with very bad manners (e.g. 13th Racing, R.T. Bam Margera (excludes pre-1997), etc.), and hails from Laguna Beach, California. One of her hobbies is traveling to exotic places like Austrailia, Canada, China, England, Italy, Japan, and even Monaco.

Racing Team Gerard Way ("R.T. Gerard Way") (July 23, Trenton, New Jersey): A white and black team that will not use juniorweight or heavyweight-defined cars. They will place their cars on a diet by reducing weight. A fine example of a car they use is the Porsche 911. There are no legends for this team, as Racer 12, Jennifer Lentz has yet to make a name for herself.

A.S.R.T. ("Amanda Seyfried") (December 3, West Chester, Pennsylvania): A blue/petunia/green/yellow team stealing Maboo (the final boss)' colors from Rolling Thunder, made in 1986 by Namco. There are no legends on this team, as Racer 60, Katie Woodruff, the daughter of Governor Woodruff, has yet to make a name for herself as well.

Racing Team Monica Keena ("R/T Monica Keena") (December 7, Brooklyn, New York): Inspired by death metal bands like Chimaira, Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, and more, this black and pink racing team has the same abilities as 13th Racing, and was one of Hornet's adversaries in Regis Island, a track shaped like the "intermediate" course from Ridge Racer Revolution. There are no legends for this team, as Racer 10, Lauren Christie, has yet to make a name for herself. This is the RT Pink Mappy (in Ridge Racer, this car was all pink), but with black shades and red wheels.

Racing Team Sophia Bush ("R.T. Sophia Bush") (October 12, Wilmington, North Carolina): They trained along with R.T. Jeff Hardy on the Emerald Shore Zone (shaped like Daytona USA's Sea-Side Street Galaxy) and R.T. Bam Margera on the Liberty Pass Zone (shaped like Rage Racer's Lakeside Gate course) in their open-eyed debut. Donning a paint scheme similar to UNC (University of North Carolina) Tar Heels' home game colors and Dig Racing Team from R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (but with dark blue and white hues), they are the hardest team to drive for in the story.

Elisha Cuthbert Racing Team ("Elisha Cuthbert") (November 30, Calgary, Alberta): Like R.C. Micro Mouse Mappy (colors) from R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, this racing team holds the speed record for the Beverly Drive Zone (Los Angeles, California and shaped like Ridge Racer's "novice" course, in which Ridge Racer V calls it "Sunny Beach" (the long "expert" course is called "Green Field")). Since the boasting, they have been known to be a bit of a problem for quick learning Racers, as they attempt to cut them off at every corner. Its red/white/midnight blue/blue paint scheme can remind them of Micro Mouse Mappy from R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, but they are also one of the easiest racing teams to drive for besides its closest friend, Rachel McAdams Racing Team ("Rachel McAdams"), and is a team that beginning Racers would normally choose before signing on to the more wild, faster-paced racing teams. A lot of audiences watching races have argued that this team is the Wave the Swallow of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series due to its excellent all-around handling and top speed. It is also one-half of the Jun Kazama of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series.

Eileen Collins is new to the sport. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia like another fellow Australian newcomer, Claire Monaco, she is good friends with Claire and newcomer Brooke Hollis, and is also an actor loosely based off the life of Isla Fisher. She has a race number of 32. Also, with her speed and determination, Eileen currently holds the record on Beverly Drive, a track shaped like Sunny Beach from the original Ridge Racer series, succeeding Racing Team Ron Perlman ("R.T. Ron Perlman")'s last driver's record. He had an excellent series of seasons, too. Eileen is 30 in The New Challengers. She will be 31 in The New Generation.

A new Racer 32, an 18-year old female, was found in The New Challengers during Round 2 of the X-Class. The newest addition to the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series is Camilla Hobbs, the younger sister of Racer 7, Ashleigh Hobbs. While Ashleigh dresses in a girly side, her younger sister, Camilla, is the opposite of that. She dresses partly in punk fashion, and one year ago set a track record in Los Angeles, California, whose track is shaped like the infamous Sunny Beach (Ridge Racer--novice) from Ridge Racer V (in Ridge Racer 6, this is called Midtown Expressway R). Ashleigh is an actress, and so is Camilla. On the track, it seems that they seem to keep challenging each other. But a lot of adventures await Camilla in The New Generation.

Racing Team Ellen Page ("R.T. Ellen Page") (February 21, Edmonton, Alberta): The Marshall Law of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series. A racing team who supports up and rising Canadian actors, like the sponsor herself. In the League, this team is known for having the colors of a famous boss of a Japanese shoot 'em up arcade game, the DoDonpachi series. It is the first form of the last boss in the first game named Hibachi, who gives players lots and lots of headaches after they reach him. Many shoot 'em up arcade fans say there is one way to beat Hibachi--one game in the series tricks players into continuing a game after losing all their lives to actually defeat the giant mechanical bee who, in the first game, transforms into a wasp when defeated. Some players even went on to say that the wasp looks cute. Well, unlike Hibachi's evil intentions (nobody knows what they are), this racing team that dons the first form of the last boss' colors follows Team Rachel McAdams' mission.

Like Brooke Hollis, Ayame Nakamura is new to the sport of auto racing. Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Ayame is good friends with Brooke and Waverly (Ayame was born in 1986 like Waverly--in fact, she has been Waverly's pen pal since the seventh grade). Her race number is 18. When she sees an "evil" racing team commit unsportsmanlike conduct on the track, she will turn emo, sort of like the attitude of Shadow the Hedgehog, and seek revenge against the instigator. Like Brooke, she strives to be a supermodel/actor. A lot is in store for this rising rookie.

Patrick Flueger Racing Team ("Patrick Flueger") (December 10, Seattle, Washington): The Shadow the Hedgehog of the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series. Having exactly no idea where they are or why they entered the tournament, this racing team looks for answers after the T-RE Racing Team ("Lillix Racing") corrupted them in their hometown of Seattle at the behest of the Romanian-born 13th Racing. One day an author had a weird dream about the sponsor of this team, which explains the myth and legend behind this team. Also, like Shadow (and any other dark, evil characters), the team's colors are black and white. The second paint scheme is white and green, which matches Maboo's shirt and green tie in Rolling Thunder 2. Very little is known about this dark racing team, as we only know is that the sponsor starred in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and this team is also the official racing team for the USA series The 4400 (in which Flueger stars as Shawn Farrell).

Alex Varkatzas Racing Team ("Alex Varkatzas" or "Team Atreyu") (June 29, Anaheim, California): This is Racing Team Jeff Hardy ("R.T. Jeff Hardy") and Racing Team Ville Valo ("R.T. Ville Valo" or "HIM Racing Team")'s worst enemy. These guys are goth and race black cars with red wheels. Like teams Lacey Mosley, Alyson Hannigan, and of course, Cillian Murphy, Team Alex Varkatzas is terrified of Racing Team Suzanne "Team Jun Kazama" Vega ("R/T Suzanne Vega")--as Jun/Suzanne will spin this team out whenever they see a dark teal car, making things easier for Hornet and all the other heroes to pass once the enemy has lost control or wrecked, Daytona USA style. Team Alex Varkatzas is also known for guarding the Ridge Racer Revolution Novice-mistaken Aquatic Hill Zone course, built with an amusement park and go-kart championship race held every year where the cars are go-kart-sized replicas of the Racers that race in the league. Everyone loves traveling down to Anaheim each year for these kinds of races like the real thing that is happening on the road right now.

But later in 2006, an evil red and black racing team, Shannyn Sossamon (who do they think they are) suddenly arrived in Anaheim, California to get revenge on world travelers Racing Team Bam Margera ("R.T. Bam Margera") and Racing Team Jeff Hardy ("R.T. Jeff Hardy"), but little do they know is that the Mariska Hargitay team, assisted by the FBI, is cracking down on this mysterious racing team doing the Lillix Racing team's evil bidding at the behest of Devil ("13th Racing"). Alex Varkatzas decides to hold off the evil unless Shannyn Sossamon is dealt with when Charlie tells Rachael of the danger of the legendary Michelle Stricker's team. The race in Anaheim X-Class will be a race against time in order to keep Shannyn Sossamon from wrecking everything, and to turn Racer 15 against what is evil.

Saving Jane Racing Team ("R/T Marti Dodson") (June 23, Columbus, Ohio): For four and a half years, Marti has trained along with Hornet and Sonic. This racing team is always itching for a fight like a certain female Metal Gear character, yet very much like the Elisha Cuthbert team, this team is also influenced by Wave the Swallow (a purple bird from the Babylon Rogues stable that rivals Miles "Tails" Prower and Dr. Eggman in Sonic Riders--I play some races as her, as I think she handles like Jun Kazama from Tekken 2 mixed with Tony Hawk and Bam Margera's speed and air tricks with their skateboards) with its wild handling and considerable top speed and acceleration! It is also said to have once crossed the finish line before the Alyson Hannigan team, but the story does not confirm this fact yet. They have a black/silver/white paint scheme. Its rival, stated in 2000 is Lacey Mosley (Flyleaf Racing Team, unknown number, I'm going to create a character for this engine class), who this time is more evil.

But not Sloan Witherspoon. A surfer girl who is friends with Amanda Thomas, originally from Orange County, California--preferably Newport Beach, California, Sloan is a new driver, and like Brooke, she doesn't like Racers with bad manners.

But one day in 2006 as she saw Kyle and Stephen playing a nice game of Sonic Riders, in a resort to a low-blow, 13th Racing style, Wave the Swallow (controlled by Kyle) suddenly blows Sonic the Hedgehog (controlled by Stephen) up (level 3 power-up boost), causing Sonic to lose ALL of his rings and Level-Down, resulting in Sandra Reese and Shannon Reiter to gasp in unison as Kyle was set to win the race (in my story, different from Schwartz' O.C., Sandra and Shannon are fighting over Stephen until Marissa Landis came along and messed everything up) and beat Stephen (in the manual, if you're attacked or fall off the course, your Ring count gets reset to zero). She gets angry once Kyle cheats and decides to wreak havoc on the track. This is an example of why it's not nice to tick Sloan off if she's had a bad day.

2002 Continued...

...Jeff Hardy was scheduled on one night's RAW, taped on July 1, 2002 to have a ladder match for the Undisputed Championship (as WWF was now WWE). The champion, The Undertaker (brainwashed by Vince McMahon to commit "ruthless aggression"--and he had given him the chance to face The Rock at Vengeance that year), had retained the belt in the main event. However, there was a problem: Jeff Hardy was incapacitated, but could still move...slightly. He says some things on the microphone in a weakened voice, "Hey! You haven't broke me, 'Taker! You haven't broke me! I'm still standing!". Outside the squared circle drama, an 18-year old Napanee, Ontario, Canada native, Avril Lavigne wowed critics and audiences around the nation with her smash hit "Complicated" on the wildly popular album Let Go. Meanwhile, on the reality stage, the music world had their very first American Idol, a high school graduate turned comedy club waitress turned sitcom extra. Her name was Kelly Clarkson, then 20. The smash hit "Behind These Hazel Eyes" would not be so popular until three years later. Now that that was over...

Chapter 8: 2003: The rebirth of Alison Sweeney and the soap opera

WTGDMan1986 is introduced to the gothic metal band Evanescence

Alexis Hurst created

R.A.C.E.R. 41 contestants debuting in 2003:

Mischa Barton (now R/T Maggie Grace) (August 5, Newport Beach, California--BTW: R/T Maggie Grace debuted on November 21 one year before this): A racing team inspired by the calm waters of The O.C.. A legendary racer, Mordecai Starr, Racer 34, was once seen driving. He now coaches the Maggie Grace Racing Team, as Julia Garfield, Racer 54, drives for this team.

Jesse McCartney (July 2, Los Angeles, California): First debuted in the first R.A.C.E.R. 41 on the Valentines' Day chapter. Driven by love child/skater punk Jill Maitland, she will appear in the X-Class chapters (what fun) in The New Challengers. She is Racer 86, and will continue to drive for this team.

Keira Knightley (March 26, London, England) This is Mischa Barton (and Maggie Grace)'s evil double, but starts off slow as they choose only the luxurious cars that are tuned up. Nobody knows who drives this car yet.

More racing team details coming soon.

...the rate of violence towards women increased, and Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees were going to have a battle on the big screen, in which NONE of the movie monsters won, no thanks to those five little words: "Welcome to my world, b****!", said by Lori Campbell in the movie Freddy vs. Jason. After this Rachel McAdams-like line that meant one of the villains would have to be killed, it was BOTH. Lori smacked Freddy with Jason's machete. Elm Street is safe, but one of the monsters was NOT dead yet. That would be, as always, Freddy Krueger.

However, bad news came for a trusted ally, the WWE. In Survivor Series 2003, Shawn Michaels came SO close to defeating Randy Orton, but Batista messed everything up by powerbombing Michaels, giving Orton the win...and all the bad guys and seducing young women got away at the behest of an evil Dan Marsala.

Also, to signify the end of "Bad" Shane McMahon, Days of our Lives had a storyline called the Salem Stalker. The killer, wearing a mask similar to Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th movies with black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt started terrorizing Salem. However, Sami Brady was attacked on a rooftop, and then in a harrowing nightmare that showed her father, Roman, dead. Sami screamed and rushed to find the door, but found Lucas Roberts dead too. The killer blocks Sami's exit and stabs her, but the nightmare ends. Later on, the killer then stalks the Christmas tree lot, targeting two women. They scream, and that's the end of the December 19, 2003 episode. After blaming things on Jeff Hardy for so long prior to this, I had a weird dream that night after losing my voice. With Jeff Hardy released from WWE that year, I was a little defenseless, until something magical happened.

Chapter 9: 2004: Game Over Deidre Hall & Alex Varkatzas, Welcome Rachel McAdams!

This marked the END of the road for Dr. Marlena Evans, who was revealed to be the serial killer on Days of our Lives. The journey to recovering after losing Jeff Hardy came shortly when Ellen DeGeneres debuted, holding the mask that the Stalker had adorned. Later on in February, Ryan Gosling started terrorizing people in a 2002 film called Murder by Numbers, leaving me to believe that Ryan Gosling was controlled by the crazy Jeff Hardy to kill the character's victims. Two years later (which is now in this chapter), in a sign of Jun Kazama-like behavior (in other words, evil Jeff Hardy being scared of Jun Kazama's angelic power as told in Tekken 2 and minus the exorcism of Ryan's inner demons), Rachel McAdams attracted Ryan Gosling's attention...and kissed him romantically...numerous times in The Notebook, a romance movie based on the best-selling novel by Nicholas Sparks. That kiss landed both Rachel and Ryan a 2005 MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Kiss. Even Larry King said that this "was the best love story I had ever seen." I can't exactly see what Jun Kazama has to do with Rachel McAdams touching Ryan Gosling's inner spirit in The Notebook, but to tell a story, in 2004 like the Tekken storyline we all grew to love, Ryan Gosling was like Kazuya Mishima in this case while 28-year-old newcomer Rachel McAdams was like Jun Kazama...which means that Ryan Gosling got taught an important lesson from a girl with intoxicating beauty--while SHE butchered his evil movie demons, first seen in 2002, terrorizing Sandra Bullock and crew with Michael Pitt as his accomplice. BOTH of the boys' biographies were printed, while Rachel came one year later along with Maggie Grace.

It also marked the END of the road for St. Louis, Missouri natives Randy Orton as well as Dan Marsala, in which eight months later in turn R.A.C.E.R. 41 was born. All the bad guys and seducing women at the behest of the punk rock monster were toned down.

But one day in a principles of business class, a fellow teacher was getting tired of a student browsing NCAA records during her lectures. She assigns detention to the perpetrator, but I wouldn't stand it. The minute she said those words, my imagination ran off to the point where I couldn't take it anymore. I learned in the Jeff Hardy dream in 2003 that Shane McMahon's evil personality had died. Matthew Broderick told me in a dream that a rebellious, 14-year old girl (preferably a Southern belle) named Kandice Helton (more on that later) trapped him in the Shane McMahon frame to get me mad. I met the girl he was talking about on March 19, 2004 during Spring Break. The alleged incident had taken place in Kinston, North Carolina at the time, blaming Jeff Hardy in San Francisco Rush 2049 whilst the girl was repeatedly winning races on the same track. After seeing Alison Sweeney win on Weakest Link a week later, Jeff Hardy returned, except badly drawn in a dream as to what was being said by Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda in a dream I had on March 22, 2004, coinciding with Reese Witherspoon's 28th birthday. In May of 2004, I learned that Katie Holmes was in danger as well as another actor in the film Phone Booth. The Caller, a psychotic sniper, was played by Kiefer Sutherland. I could not stop screaming at the television, and then I went back to school the following day after the weekend and printed off the biography. Later that year, the Cary Towne Center reared its ugly head and introduced me to a store I had never seen before: Hot Topic.

Later that year, I had finally got my hands on a Sony PlayStation 2--but over the summer. There are currently 16 games in my collection now.

Reese Witherspoon debuted over the summer, along with Josh Hartnett and Mekhi Phifer.

...and then came the soon-to-be-bride of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes.

In the last half of 2004, the screenwriting talent takes place, just about the same time as Fefe Dobson, Dan Marsala, and Brody Dalle ruined the industrial circuit. On Jeopardy!, the world would fall victim to a software developer from Salt Lake City, Utah. Enter powerhouse Ken Jennings, winning for 74 days on Jeopardy!. His luck ran out when real estate agent Nancy Zerg of Ventura, California beat him in the final round after Jennings wrote down an incorrect response. Zerg only lasted ONE day as champion before another girl (sorry, don't know her name) defeated her in Final Jeopardy!.

On September 24, 2004, I had welcomed a new story to the writing family: R.A.C.E.R. 41 (for more info, see About R.A.C.E.R. 41 above), and its now-failed sister, The Diary Of Racer 76. By that time I had realized I had no idea why my stories were being invaded by lots of young women. In the story, I do have characters like this, short and tall (tallest is 5'8"). The original went from when Tracy Michaels met Rhiannon Slater for the first time to the point where they got to the "Final Story", the Rachel McAdams Racing Team.

But later on in an out-of-town trip, my cousin of 16 years to this day had introduced me to a show on MTV called Viva La Bam, and this introduced me to Bam Margera for the first time. We slept over for the weekends, and I could not understand it at first, but when I saw the Arbor Day (Bam builds a treetop casino) episode, I understood what he was trying to do. The madness of Bam Margera would last for two years, which is now (2006).

Wikipedia made a big contribution to this whole story, but I'm not finished just yet. Getting creeped out about punk fashion and gothic fashion, I decided to get help coping with this.

But near the end of 2004, crazy things had happened. First off, in a winter high school tournament, East Duplin beat out rival James Kenan in a basketball game, but ED did not win the final. Second, in the midst of watching Viva La Bam a music commercial played, in which the annoyingly loud (not the Big Debacle of 2006) metalcore band Atreyu was being advertised by Tower Records.

Finally, the triple threat ended with an episode of VH1's I Love the 80s Strikes Back--the 1987 episode. On one of the segments, mostly trying to explain how comedian Adam Sandler got his acting start, they were talking about Remote Control and everything was all right...until when two women rock stars talked about how the game show tortured losing contestants, and one of the victims was a young woman named Tracey!

As Ken Ober, the host of this 1987-1990 MTV laughterfest, said his goodbyes to the cute contestant, her chair is pulled backwards as she is laughing. Out of nowhere are stagehands playing punk and gothic kids, laying the smackdown on the poor contestant as an unrealistic screaming sound played. I jumped up and my heart raced faster as I thought Tracey was screaming that she was being involved in an attack. The audience is singing a song about leaving, and none of them bothered to help the attacked contestant. One was unbuckling her seatbelt rather harshly...

...but in story news, Bam Margera's loss was my gain. Upon playing WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW (which was a Christmas 2004 present), Tracey Whelan debuted around late-December 2004, and in this case, so did one of the punk or gothic kids in the reenactment, but was erased from my memory card after being KO'd by Lavender Clinton and left crippled and in a bloody state.

I felt I took game show violence a little too seriously, but in 2006, it would get a whole lot better.

Chapter 10: 2005: Where are we now? (a.k.a. Daytona USA vs. Ridge Racer, Part 1)

The end of my high school days and the beginning of my college days weren't going to go down without a fight. In order, Vincent D'Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe, and Mischa Barton all started debuting, as well as Rachel Bilson from the winter of 2004 to the spring of 2005. The summer got a little hectic with the arrival of Rachel McAdams, a fellow Canadian from St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. The fall (my college years) weren't any better--Maggie Grace lost her job on Lost when she was killed off. My reaction: blame Bam Margera one way or the other.

Then came the Red Lake High School massacre. A Goth kid named Jeff Weise tried to pull off what Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold did six years back--shooting up the school, killing random teachers, students, and his grandfather (Weise). Again, Marilyn Manson will NOT be expecting to get away with this, either. That also means that THIS does also NOT include Bam Margera as usual.

I got into Mad Money for the first time as well. I couldn't get over the sound of a screaming man falling out of a window and then crashing on the ground sound effect. I would even watch the show when typing a story, but when he pushes the "Man Out Window" button, that's my cue to focus. On one show on August 24 during the lightning round, the crew provided a shot of what was on the buttons. Some had descriptions like "SELL SELL SELL", "BULL", "BEAR", "HOG", "MAN (sorry, Tekken fans, that's definitely NOT Jun Kazama--see 2006 ;-)) OUT WINDOW", and others too big to fit in this paragraph. This came after someone stupidly asked for Ford Motor Company, when in a sign of things to come, they should know that Jim Cramer is going to go nuts with the soundboard, pressing all those buttons at one time, making us viewers at home laugh out loud.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. When Rachel Nichols had nighttime duty on the show The Inside, "Virgil" fired Rebecca Locke for defying orders to get off the train in order to catch a killer who has been terrorizing women. Rebecca is successful, and the FBI agents working as construction workers caught the killer with the trademark black hooded sweatshirt. The face looked somewhat like Bam Margera's but a little older. The same thing happened on Killer Instinct, yet another canceled FOX show, but without the sweatshirt. Jim Cramer provided a little assistance just in case I didn't want to see The Inside, which was supposed to be a great show. But over the summer, Margera's little laughfest, Viva La Bam hit the chopping block as in cancellation, because I think Bam didn't want to risk his citizenship in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

But then disaster struck in the town of Lititz, Pennsylvania. Enter the serial murderer David G. Ludwig and his hostage Kara Borden, trying to make me rethink of Bam Margera. Unfortunately, the "land of Bam" ruined it. They arrested Ludwig for killing Borden's parents while they were asleep. While watching Mad Money the day this headline was at the bottom of the NASDAQ ticker symbol, I was forced to write about West Chester, Pennsylvania not knowing the fact that Bam Margera (when will I learn to stop using this name so much?) used to live there. That was the end of that story.

Oh, and I almost forgot. In mid-July, I was introduced to feisty Laguna Beach, California girls Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari. Now one year later, LC and Kristin have split ways, Kristin hosting Get This Party Started, and Lauren starring in a Laguna Beach spin-off, The Hills, set to air on MTV in the spring.

Near the end of 2005, the Tracey thing almost happened again (but successfully implemented in WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2006), but a character named M. Death actually tried to make Tracey Whelan's life a nightmare, but ended up failing like Slipknot9850 did in 2004. The result? Kevin Hartford, whom, in the Alexis Hurst series, is the boyfriend of Rebecca Harlan, but without all that face masking. I am still in deciding whether I'll add him to The New Challengers and/or The New Generation.

But in the fall, R.A.C.E.R. 41: The New Challengers (formerly Legends) was born (and still in progress)! The first time, Charlie Sebastian stumbled across Samantha Grayson, but I didn't feel that was supposed to happen first. For more details, see the next chapter, which is now, 2006. Meanwhile, in next year's rewrite, a certain arcade game took center stage...

Chapter 11: 2006: Where Are We Now, Part 2 (a.k.a. Daytona USA vs. Ridge Racer, Part 2 (featuring Jun Kazama))

Act 1: Jun Kazama's Surprise Return

Remake of 1st book of The New Challengers: ...and then THIS had to happen. R.T. Bam Margera wreaked havoc in the United States in the GT500 class of R.A.C.E.R. 41 Legends. In one of the recurring (yet funny, Namco and Sega-monologued) episodes, Brooke Hollis actually took the time to notice Theodore Burke and Payne Hollister playing arcade games.

Now, wait a minute. In the first paragraph, you heard me say arcade game, right? Theodore was having a great time, but Payne was the one that startled Brooke, committing poor play left to right. "AAAAAAAAUGH! Make it STOP!" Brooke screamed when one of the cute little she-warriors with a white vest, black capri pants, and a white headband, young pacifist, animal caretaker, and WWWC officer Jun Kazama (in various Tekken instruction manuals, we learn that she is 22 years of age and weighs in at 170cm, so, this converted to height is 5'7"), was KO'd by a not-so-lucky computer opponent at the last minute in Stage 6, badly losing both rounds, costing him two quarters.

Oh, and speaking of Jun Kazama (I'm getting nervous here), Payne Hollister was having fun with her and doing it rather poorly (this could've been avoided by using a character like Paul Phoenix or Nina Williams). He ALMOST caused a Game Over, which always sucks in an arcade game. It was then revealed that R.T. Bam Margera's crewmembers deliberately tampered with the settings (also known as a DIP switch), making it even harder for Payne to clear all the rounds with his favorite she-warrior with the white headband. Meanwhile, on the third failed attempt, Jeff Hardy was also KO'd in a 2000 Sega game, WWF Royal Rumble, but unlike ANOTHER game (this is going to get even worse), this character made no noise like the cute and peaceful, yet annoyingly loud (when KO'd) Jun Kazama from Tekken 2 when her energy is at 0% and the announcer declares a KO (good luck beating her in Arcade Mode in the Sony PlayStation version. If she loses, cover your ears, turn the volume down, or mute it!), which can also be signified by an all-red health bar (Dead). Sega and Namco counterattacked Bam Margera that day, as one of the girls taking a turn at Tekken 2 while Payne Hollister and Theodore Burke were playing friendly little OutRunners, a game released in arcades in 1992, and released on the Sega Genesis in 1994. Theodore won, using Speed Buster. Mad Power (driven by Payne) came SO close! After the wake of Racing Team Bam Margera ("R.T. Bam Margera")'s unnecessary attacks, Jeff Hardy charged off to better challenges, while on the other hand (here we go again), Jun Kazama continued becoming a victim of poor play at the hands of many arcade-goers in San Francisco, California, as one of the girls playing the arcade game rather poorly felt her hands getting a little tired while tapping the buttons on the machine (excludes P1 and P2 START). Perhaps the girl should've taken lessons from Payne?

Act 1 Closing Remarks

We then learn that from the land of Engrish, Jun Kazama grew up from the wilds of Yakushima, Japan (or so they say). In the game she comes from, we also learn that she is an officer, mostly for the WWWC--undercover and works mainly to expose illegal animal exporters (her mission is mostly like PETA, Bob Barker and the "pet population" speech heard on The Price Is Right at the end of every Showcase win or double overbid). It's also sweet that she is also known as the "Pretty Flower" and the "Chosen One" prior to moving to Tokyo, Japan--until she was 22, back in 1995 when Tekken 2 was released in the United States that year. Her debut in arcades (that's us Americans back in the day) was either on August 3rd or September 29th of the 19 and the 95. Jun Kazama at 22 is where Act 1 ends.

By the way, in Tekken 2, I have been playing with Jun Kazama for 10 years, starting in 1996. My best time for Jun in the arcade is 3:22.36 for all 10 stages.

Since I am a very generous person, I am going to allow Jun Kazama to return yet again in Book 4 in one of Theodore or Payne's flashbacks. But don't expect her to get away with making too much noise, though (oh, yeah, and I'm going to allow her to return in Chronicles as well)!

Act 2: End of R-Class (continues after CSI script)

In the R-Class, trouble is brewing...

However, Jun Kazama slipped into the Washington, D.C. chapter of R.A.C.E.R. 41: The New Challengers when the 44th President of the United States, President Lawrence Marshall heard the wailing scream heard in Tekken 2 when she was KO'd. In recent Tekken games, the chance of Jun Kazama fighting in America varies depending on their skill. The wailing scream scares Amanda, the Marshalls' youngest daughter, and concerns Chelsea, the oldest daughter. First Lady Suzanne Marshall has to put up with that scream every time she and her husband, the President, are proofreading their speech. She's worried that the two terrorists will want to sneak in the arcade room unnoticed and play with Jun Kazama in Tekken 2 rather poorly, which is NOT good. This White House has a game room in the downstairs complex (as there are many features than the White House you see in American history books at school). The President and his wife soon learn that Jun is one of the sweetest (I meant that) characters in the Tekken series they will ever meet.

President Marshall and his oldest daughter, Amanda have a nightmare overnight about the Midnight Children, found in New York. They dress in a Goth fashion, and one of them, Meredith Whelan is the little sister of the protagonist Racer 91, Tracey Whelan from R.A.C.E.R. 41. She's Racer 34 (which was given to her as Mordecai Starr quit to become a crew chief for R/T Maggie Grace, Julia Garfield's team. He's also managing the R/T Mischa Barton racing team as well), but the other Midnight Child, a boy, was yet to be found. It's up to Tracy, Charlie, Rhiannon, and of course, Samantha to find out about Racer 66.

And of Racer 66, that's up to Brandon Cross, Racer 40, to find out. He soon learns that Racer 66 is his little brother, Jonathan, born in 1985 (Brandon was born in 1982), known for dressing in a mixed punk/goth fashion. When Brandon and Jonathan lock horns, cue the Rolling Thunder 2 "Round Start" theme first used in 1990. To help find Jonathan is Brandon's best friend, Wesley Stephens, Racer 30. Now it's up to Ellen DeGeneres and Nathan Fillion to team up and defeat the Midnight Children so they can save Caitlin the trouble of finding the two for U.S. President Lawrence Marshall.

Payne then dreams that Shane McMahon lures Seth Cohen and Summer Roberts into a trap of detention (just like in 2004 when my business teacher caught a student reading NCAA stuff online while she was lecturing) in their high school, afterschool in an episode of The O.C.. Recap: In 2004, Matthew Broderick's character has been tortured by a bunch of (oh no) rednecks sent by a rebellious Kenansville, North Carolina native 14-year-old Southern belle named (gasp) Kandice Helton (OK, the "redneck" jokes have got to go--I don't think she'll like that, now. Get it together already, WTGDMan!), kicked in the groin by Fefe Dobson, and of course, mauled by Goth kids in Cary, North Carolina, in which I thought the "evil" Shane McMahon I saw was left there to die no thanks to Hot Topic.

Now former Chicago, Illinois-turned Laguna Beach, California native Kristin Cavallari joins the fray by THREATENING to kick the evil Shane McMahon out of Payne's dreams for GOOD?! (Editor's note: Kristin Cavallari does the narrations for Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, in case you didn't notice already.) She gets rather...you know what goes there since I don't like to swear, and says some pretty demeaning things that scare him. After what (I thought) one of my friends I met at the bowling alley in 2004, Kandice Helton (no, I don't think she has a MySpace yet), Fefe Dobson, and Bam Margera (allegedly) caused poor "Bad" Shane McMahon, Kristin Cavallari goes into Jun Kazama/Nina Williams mode and that leads Shane into a world of trouble.

Since WHEN did it have access to Kristin Cavallari's biography? I wish it would stop making Shane and Matthew remember 1994 as well! They shouldn't be on the floor crying when Nancy Kerrigan comes to mind. That's rather shocking to me as well. But Namco gave us Ridge Racer 2, and THAT'S worth smiling about. If this ever gets through the front desk of Namco, Josh Schwartz/J.J. Abrams (R/T Maggie Grace) and Vince McMahon (WWE Racing Club)'s teams would be outclassed by White Angel (#0, driven by Jun Kazama and this character from Time Crisis with a hard-to-pronounce last name, so just to be safe, I won't list the full name). And losing to White Angel is like losing a championship belt to Jeff Hardy, which also sucks like losing badly at Tekken 2 (a Baek Doo San-type machine) to Jun Kazama (in this situation, I mean no fun and lost perfect to Jun Kazama both times) on stage 8 using Marshall Law, getting a Game Over by choosing not to continue--or realizing you don't have any more quarters, forcing you not to continue. This story isn't over yet!

And Payne wakes up from his dream, asking Theodore about the friend he met, a Southern belle everyone was afraid of in R.A.C.E.R. 41, Candace Harmon. Candace is loosely based off my friend I first met in 2004, but this Candace is a little older, and the first name is altered around, since Microsoft Word will not recognize if it's spelled with a K first. Candace is 20, and graduated from James Kenan High School in 2004. In R.A.C.E.R. 41, she was known as Racer 89, but in The New Challengers, it is toned down 30 numbers. She races for the Jimmy Fallon Racing Team ("R/T Jimmy Fallon"), and her new race number now is 59. The story STILL isn't over yet!

Then tragedy struck. One of my favorite WWE superstars, the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels was brutally attacked by the meddling McMahons Vince (the father) and Shane McMahon (the son) at the behest of that rebellious (17?) year old (gasp) Kandice Helton--just like she did Matthew Broderick in my dream in 2004! I'm friends with Shane on MySpace, and I didn't want him to do anything evil. What I meant by evil was defecting to a rival wrestling company, not wreak havoc on the Heartbreak Kid at the behest of Kandice Helton to get me mad. Sure, Shane McMahon's not evil outside the ring, as the storylines are fictional. I just don't see what Kandice Helton has to do with Shane and HBK's storylines. It is 2006 and Kandice must be 17. And if I highlight Kandice Helton by placing two open and close brackets, Wikipedia will show the words "Kandice Helton" in blood red, which means that there is NO article on the girl I met at a bowling alley in Kinston, North Carolina. That means she has to be famous somehow to get herself known. I swear if Shane touches Shawn like that AGAIN, I WILL MAKE them AND Kandice Helton remember the year 1994, the year Nancy Kerrigan was...oh, you know what goes there. I HATE IT when my imagination gets Shane McMahon in sticky situations he can't even get out of, and causing trouble for Kandice Helton when she doesn't need it around her hometown of Kenansville. As a well-known Wikipedian, I, too, grew up around Duplin County myself, and seem to get a little nervous when girls flirt with me. Oh. And the story STILL isn't over yet!

After seeing a young woman being nursed back to health by Hugh Laurie the next day, something unexpected happened the next morning (insert Ellen DeGeneres-style cliffhanger...). That afternoon, I stumbled across a dark, mysteriously alluring young woman named Alexis Dziena. Teen People also had in the magazine issue the girl I assigned to play Jun Kazama (voiceover in Payne's dreams) and Rebecca Sheldon (the young woman inspired by Jun Kazama's style of dress), Laura Breckenridge. That should tell me not to dream of Jim Cramer and a gymnast in danger of being kidnapped by a dark, mysteriously alluring young woman, huh? I bet that neither Michelle Trachtenberg nor Jewel Staite has dreamt of a dark, mysteriously alluring young man, eh? Oh, yeah, and the story STILL isn't over yet!

And then something else happened. The dark, mysteriously alluring young woman appeared in a dream I had last night, wreaking havoc on Jewel Staite and Michelle Trachtenberg, with bat-like powers seen in Bloody Roar, and when I was finished with my classes, I listened to the arcade "boss" theme (pathetically, it's a girl that's a boss! I find that TOO easy.). I wrote down the song "Rubber Lover" - Beastorizer/Bloody Roar on the ESPIOKaos message board under the thread titled, "What're you listening to right now?". I don't know how to pronounce the boss' name in the arcade correctly, so I will not put it down in this user page until I visit the Bloody Roar Wikipedia page. I couldn't imagine Alexis Dziena wreaking havoc on Jewel Staite or Michelle Trachtenberg on Alexis Thorpe's 26th birthday. And neither can I imagine Alexis playing Tekken 2 with Jun Kazama rather poorly.

Now, if Payne Hollister were in this dream, he'd pound away at Uriko (the cat/"Werechimera" final boss) in the arcade until the character screamed like Jun Kazama from a popular Namco fighter game,Tekken 2 (sorry, couldn't resist), using Yugo (a Japanese wolf)...causing Tracy Michaels to slam his fists against the controller when Uriko loses both rounds badly. I don't know if she is playable in Beastorizer, the arcade version of Bloody Roar yet. I might want to explore this myth with MAME and see if there are any cheats available. All I can say is that she's NO Jun Kazama, THAT'S for sure. Oh, and the story STILL isn't over yet, if that's what you're asking! ;-)

The CSI "Got Murder?" Lines That Started It All

I reviewed the "Got Murder?" script, and here's what should've happened.

(NOTE: Marg Helgenberger plays Catherine Willows (a detective). Evan Rachel Wood plays Nora Easton. Paul Guilfoyle plays LVPD Capt. Brass. We find out that Nora murdered her mother by hitting her over the back of her head hard with a frying pan, and once dead, Nora stuffed Kelly in the freezer.)

Catherine: "I know. You take care of things."

Nora: (crying) "I never ask for anything!"

Catherine: "And all you wanted was the one thing that you couldn't have."

Nora: It's not my fault. I'm innocent.

Catherine: "You were innocent, Nora. You're not anymore."

(Capt. Brass moves behind Nora to handcuff her.)

Nora: "What are you doing?"

Capt. Brass: "You're under arrest for the murder of Kelly Easton."

Nora: (shouts) "No, but I'm going to have a baby!"

(Nora is taken out of the room while Capt. Brass gives a sigh of relief.)

HERE'S what a Matthew Broderick-played Shane McMahon did before a Laura Breckenridge-played Jun Kazama caused a Game Over by injuring Matthew's character...

(Shane McMahon is out to take out the garbage which is the now-eliminated Evan Rachel Wood, as in detention forever. Enter Jun Kazama to cause a nasty altercation that costs Shane a body part or two.)

Shane McMahon: "You're NOT going to have a baby. Evan Rachel Wood, you have DETENT--"

Jun Kazama: "Stop RIGHT THERE, Shane McMahon!"

(A loud crack is heard when Jun wraps her legs around Shane's left arm, pulling it away from Shane. Jun is kialing and Shane screams loudly in pain.)

Shane McMahon: "--OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! That hurt! How could I LOSE to Jun Kazama?! Oh, this sucks! (Shane looks down at his arm as it is bleeding.) OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! JUN BROKE MY ARM, TOO?! Somebody stop this..." (He again falls to the ground, this time knocked unconscious. Enter Wendie and Lorraine.)

Wendie Phoenix: "Jun Kazama?"

Lorraine Weston: "I've heard about her. She's pretty overrated."

Wendie Phoenix: "You might wanna make sure Payne doesn't hear that. He'll challenge you to a game of Tekken 2 in the arcade and you'll LOSE to Jun Kazama for sure!"

(Shane-O-Mac transforms back into Brian Westlake, an author.)

CSI Aftermath, continuing Chapter 11

Now, that night's lines in Duplin County should have NEVER happened. Shane McMahon became a victim in my imagination when it got Jun Kazama from Tekken on him, damaging his left arm. Now Patrick West is going to be out of my stories for a painful 14 weeks no thanks to Jun Kazama interfering. Now I'm going to have to add characters played by William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger (might wanna add a character played by Jorja Fox to keep CSI fans happy) into the story.

The last few lines was from my imagination running wild, trying to KILL Shane McMahon. Shane has not done ANYTHING to my imagination to cause this. I imagined Shane McMahon beside Nora and he announces that she has detention. Unfortunately, Shane doesn't GET to destroy the actress because my imagination ran off, CAUSING Jun Kazama TO RUIN IT BY BREAKING HIS ARMS! Since WHEN does Jun Kazama decide to physically hurt Shane and injure him?!

"You have detent--OWWWWWW! JUN BROKE MY ARM!" he shouted in my imagination when Laura Breckenridge performed Jun's body part-breaking move where she wraps your arms around her legs (lying down) and pulls them until a bone cracking is heard. This is the 6th time that Shane McMahon got in DEEP trouble with a Tekken character. William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger may have no idea who Jun Kazama is (and neither would Law & Order: SVU's Mariska Hargitay), but Shane McMahon KNEW better than to do something like that. Well, I can't imagine Shane or Matthew playing Tekken 2 in the arcades as Jun Kazama rather poorly and running out of quarters. That's just wrong.

Act 2: "Bad" Shane McMahon continues...

Now I'VE got to keep Shane McMahon and his portrayer Matthew Broderick away from an even DEADLIER opponent, Uriko Nonomura (y'all know her from the Bloody Roar series as explained a few paragrahps above), because the minute she transforms into a deadly cat or the Werechimera, I'd suggest to keep away from the cabinet controller. If Hornet Racing were here, their Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (Tracy) or Lotus Esprit (Charlie) would run the Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R of WWE Racing Club into the wall and outclass the Uriko Nonomura (speed and agility in Bloody Roar)-inspired Toyota Supra of Racing Team Rachel Bilson ("R.T. R.J. Bilson") at 190mph (should be 315 km/h) while crossing the finish line in first place. It would be CSI meets Ridge Racer and Daytona USA if that were to happen. The story STILL isn't over yet! I've got plenty more where THAT came from! ;-)

Act 3: ...Honey, I Think Jun Kazama Made Shane Go Bankrupt!

And then again, "Bad" Shane McMahon was up to no good. He eliminated the last of the younger American Idol finalists (one of them placed 5th on May 3, 2006), and caused Summer Roberts' boyfriend, Seth Cohen to get arrested AND placed in detention on The O.C. with the other main cast members in a plot determined for the bad guys to wreck Orange County, and left me worried when Jun Kazama would strike again. Everyone is known to be scared of Jun Kazama when I dream of this character at night (including Shane McMahon--he's ran away unsuccessfully, but Jun Kazama pulls him back in terror), taking it way back to 1998, when I had my first dream set in a mall in Wilmington, North Carolina. If Jun Kazama DOES strike, Shane McMahon might wanna get out of there. She attempts to bring everyone together to tell a story. In dreams like this, Jun randomly chooses the setting, sort of like Lost. But unfortunately, J.J. Abrams has exactly NO idea who Jun Kazama is, and not even Ryan Seacrest or Joss Whedon. When dreams of Jun Kazama occur and recur unexpectedly, I think my dreams are telling me to know not to hire neither J.J. Abrams nor Joss Whedon to add special effects. It's like saying Jun likes to mess things up for the villains, and that Shane McMahon is next on her "KO" list, making sure that she will get a "Perfect!". In other words, one false move and you can kiss Shane McMahon bye-bye if Jun Kazama gets her hands on him, causing a Game Over in the process. Ewww.

This came when I got ideas for Chapter 25 (the R-class finale) of R.A.C.E.R. 41: The New Challengers, especially when I got the idea of Brandon Cross trying to protect Trisha Cohen (she's 21), a wild child (translation: she dresses goth) who might have seen a murder. Trisha is a mean enemy in Katie Woodruff's story, since both Katie and Trisha are from North Carolina (Katie lived in Raleigh and Wilmington as well as Holly Springs while Trisha lived in Kenansville (she went to James Kenan High with Candace) and Wilson). With the fear of Jun Kazama striking New York, New York's citizens, this interests Brian Hightower and Nick Adams to try to keep Jun Kazama under control before the X-class events (enter wide-body kits and big spoilers as well as faster engines) begin. It seems that now in flashbacks Jun Kazama is getting a lot feistier like Brooke Hollis and Kristin Lambert when it comes to villains--she just decimates 'em all! But Jun Kazama doesn't quite know Lauren Christie, so there's plenty of time in X-Class to do that.

Brandon Cross' mission is similar to games like Rocko's Modern Life: Spunky's Dangerous Day and Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures when there are "Trisha" type missions. That means Brandon has to protect Trisha. If Trisha is happy, she will obey Brandon's commands. If Trisha takes damage while racing, she will make noises similar to both she-warriors Jun Kazama and Kunimitsu from Tekken 2. Too much damage and Trisha is injured (same wailing scream as you-know-who, sadly ;-), causing Brandon to fail the mission, and he doesn't want THAT to happen!

Act 4: Exit R-Class, Enter X-Class

Bad news happened on an episode of Doug. "The subject is closed! The subject is closed", voiced a robotic Mr. Bone in a Quailman daydream. An actor and cartoonist, Anthony Lindstrom and his girlfriend, Cheryl Milian are in New York, New York at the time the episode "Doug Meets RoboBone (a.k.a. Doug VS. RoboBone)" (a 1992 episode) aired. Cheryl must've been taken the same way RoboBone took Quailman's friends and placed them into a "force field" that puts them in detention forever (Shane McMahon wasn't introduced to the world until 1993). Maybe Doug Preis (Mr. Bone's voice) can talk to the voice of Jun Kazama from Tekken 2 (I'm told it's Kimberly Forsythe?) and have them ask a successful voice actor why I give harsh reviews on a character's voice. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm struck with rain (nowadays, thunderstorms make me think of Heihachi Mishima climbing that mountain in the PlayStation Tekken 2 opening sequence I remember for many years now since 1996), which means that Cheryl wasn't kidnapped at all, and neither was Anthony. The X-Class events have now begun with part 2 of the finale of R-Class.

When Racing Team Jeff Hardy ("R.T. Jeff Hardy") and Racing Team Bam Margera ("R.T. Bam Margera") have a flashback of racing against each other back in 1997 (the year of the Rage Racer) before Racing Team Rachel Bilson ("R.T. R.J. Bilson") broke up the altercation, another racing team (that's also the Rachel Bilson team's rival), Racing Team Eliza Dushku ("R/T Eliza Dushku") (both debuted in 1997), had a score to settle with the Jeff and Bam teams as well as their old rival. How will the girls (driving for the Jeff and Bam teams) get out of this one?

Wendie stumbled across some old friends: Bryan Cohen (Tricia's father) and Stephen Probst (ex-ALH Racing Club ("Alyson Hannigan") driver that was afraid of Racing Team Suzanne Vega ("R/T Suzanne "Team Jun Kazama" Vega") in 1996. Stephen raced since 1994 in the league and was Racer 3. He dreamt later in 2003 that he thought he had kidnapped a young woman, but it turned out to be Tasha-Ray Evin of the all-girl Canadian rock band Lillix and she put the smackdown on him, causing him to scream like Jun Kazama from Tekken 2 when she broke glass over his handsome little head! Oh, and J.J. Abrams, Ryan Seacrest, Carson Daly, Joss Whedon, Jay Leno, Howie Mandel, and of course, everyone's favorite New Yorker, Regis Philbin made special guest appearances on the train. Now, what on earth would Tasha-Ray want with Eric? Who knows?

And of course, if I hear Ryan Seacrest or William H. Macy say (yell) this phrase, "OH, CRAP! IT'S JUN KAZAMA! HEAD FOR THE HILLS!" in my dreams, then everyone scatters, screaming and crying in panic, running for his/her lives, and then a crazy dream has happened, wrecked again by Jun Kazama. I guess that's what I get for playing with her in Tekken 2 for 10 years. The story (and Jun Kazama interfering with my dreams randomly at night) is NOT over yet! ;-)

Act 5: And The Story Moves On

From there, I learned after watching an episode of CSI: Miami, I learned that some immigrants were on the loose; on Law & Order, a female prosecutor is kidnapped (and murdered along with another detective--I ended up blaming John Cena and Samuel L. Jackson, but found a dream site in fear of Tasha-Ray Evin, and I learned that Shane McMahon disappeared from RAW again--call that Tasha-Ray Evin's attempt to keep me from forcing John Cena and Samuel L. Jackson to remember the year 1994), and in addition, on ER, the hospital is being taken hostage, as well as Brittany Snow turning to the dark side as a special guest on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. That may sound like Shane McMahon is indeed cheating, but one fateful encounter with Kandice Helton will not be All Clear, it'll be Game Over instead, if Shane McMahon does not make it. These were all "Bad" Shane McMahon's cronies, but Matthew Broderick should be afraid of newcomers Amanda Thomas, Racer 23 (a beautiful, yet friendly beach girl), and Patrick Irvin, Racer 19 (a skater punk originally from Clayton, North Carolina; now resides in Laguna Beach, California). They are the newest entries in The New Challengers, the X-Class, right after the thunderstorm that shocked downtown New York City. CBS and NBC may be full of violence and dismay at the behest of an evil Shane McMahon, but one wrong move and "The Mysterious Brown-Eyed Blonde-Haired Woman" (she may look like Tasha-Ray Evin of Lillix and may be feisty--and like Cheryl, born in 1985, but she doesn't do anything terrible) could hurt him just like she did Stephen Probst in his dreams. Unfortunately, Tasha-Ray Evin won't get to get her hands on Shane McMahon because he was accidentally hit with a sledgehammer, and again disappeared from RAW.

Vince McMahon's plan ALSO went awry at the time Triple H allegedly (sorry, need to stop talking like a Law & Order prosecutor) hit Vince's 36-year-old son with the sledgehammer, which meant while I was away, my imagination ran wild, erratically forcing Kandice Helton and Bam Margera to off him, when I knew I didn't want Shane to get wasted like that. That means Shane McMahon ALSO lost custody of Evan Rachel Wood when Kandice Helton interferred. Rhiannon's little sister, Courtney, would hear of the good news. Now all the characters in R.A.C.E.R. 41 have to do is watch characters I loosely based off the lives of William Petersen and Vincent D'Onofrio to dream of a young woman like Kristin Cavallari, and I have my idea for the X-Class (working on right NOW!) series in The New Challengers. Oh, and I'm not going to let them get wasted by neither villain character played by Tasha-Ray Evin nor Lacey Mosley, either.

Then I saw a $100,000 win on Wheel of Fortune, which in turn, in the next day that I'm updating this page, I soon had thoughts of Rachael Leigh Cook--and the character of Elyse "Elise" Lively came into play. When she debuted in 1994, her hairstyle was similar to Nina Williams' younger sister from Tekken, Anna (seen in the first three games), but Elise's hair was a little darker and a little longer as well. I simply added 10 years to the character, so Elise was born in 1969 like Bryan Cohen was born in 1960 like Amanda Sterling.

Then CSI: Miami had a season finale where this detective's little sister was killed by the immigrant gang. But then Ridge Racer V stopped me when I tried to blame Bam Margera when Shane McMahon's the one getting in trouble. I then had thoughts of what to write next, signified by Amanda's complaining of "I don't like R.T. Bam Margera!" or, "I hate this team!". R.T. Bam Margera, like R.T. Jeff Hardy, has been unfair with women drivers (R.T. Jeff Hardy now has women drivers as of Classic R.A.C.E.R. 41), and Amanda Thomas decides to voice a complaint. Her racing team has not been put together yet, as I am still working on this.

And then disaster struck. On the May 18, 2006 episode of The O.C. titled, "The Graduation", Marissa Cooper was killed in a car wreck at the end of Season 3 at the hands of a Bam Margera-sent drunk driver (that's Kevin Volchok's fault, that means no more Marissa on The O.C. and I wanted to blame Bam Margera for the wreck). I dreamt of skater punks that night after listening to sad songs from Avril Lavigne and Fefe Dobson (Nobody's Home by Lavigne, Julia by Dobson), a boy and a girl.

Though I didn't want to blame Bam Margera for Marissa's death, the dream possibly told me to create a new male (and female) character that dresses like a skater punk. That wasn't the first character-creating dream I had. Last year, as I was blaming Bam Margera for Shannon's death on Lost, a dream forced Amanda Hollister to open up as Payne's little sister (she's 18) to cause him to have a backstory about his life to limit Payne's invincibility from family troubles. I believe to be running out of race numbers as well. Bam Margera is safe for now. The dream also told me not to blame Bam Margera for Marissa's death, yet if I did get the urge to KO (not like Jun Kazama) Bam, the dream created the characters in exchange. All I have to do now is find actors who resemble these new entries.

The process for creating characters in stories is like Tekken when Namco introduced a "Time-Release" system that after a certain time period, characters (and stages--that was introduced in Tekken 5) will open up, but my way is a little different. I have to think of something for them to do before they are introduced to a main character. One of the new ones is Racer 56, Veronica Mandel (NOT related to Howie Mandel, a comedian and the host of Deal or No Deal--American version) For the rest: just heed the act name! Now HOW Many Characters Are Selectable? (sorry, blame Namco, their Tekken 2 got me into this mess in 1996! I've been a fan ever since!) ;-)

The first part of Class X stories is a bit like classic Sega, Namco, and Konami games released on 4th-generation consoles Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (mostly Sonic Advance 2 (Game Boy Advance), Ordyne (arcade), and Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure (don't forget Ristar by Sega), where an evil racing team, Flyleaf Racing ("R/T Lacey Mosley"), has corrupted six racing teams at the behest of the troubled racing team, T-RE Racing Team ("Lillix Racing"), requiring Hornet Racing to think a little harder. In dreams, drivers' teams are brainwashed to do R/T Lacey Mosley's dirty work and Hornet MUST finish in first place to remove the spell. If in teams, Hornet and that teammate MUST finish in the top twelve (Sonic Riders requires you to defeat the enemy and finish in first place, but here, to clear the stage you MUST be in front of the target) to break the brainwashed teams of the spell put on them by the dark team. Or could "Devil", 13th Racing, be behind all of this?

And then a dream happened to me on May 30, 2006. At a movie theater (some of us weren't let in), I heard some whining and screaming. It sounded like a villain was controlling a villain in the movie, whilst someone was talking in fake Japanese, improv-style. It was that, sounding a bit like something that would be heard from 1988 to somewhere between 1994 and now. The villain sounded a little like, ahem, unplayable boss Jinpachi Mishima (I never played with any new characters past Julia Chang who first appeared in Tekken 3, replacing her mother, Michelle) from Tekken 5 (the last one giving many Tekken fans lots and lots of headaches when "You Lose!" occurs) mixed with someone like Viggo Mortensen, Jon Cryer, or Dennis Hopper, at the behest of a new fictional character played by Patrick Flueger of The 4400, who claimed to be very evil. No women were seriously hurt in the dream, though I'm going to learn about Patrick over the summer to get to know him and his character, Shawn, a little better. Wish me good luck!

Then on June 7, 2006, my world would be turned upside down by an episode of Law & Order: SVU when a young woman claims to have been assaulted by a professor. I didn't have any ideas; yet the episode "Doubt" led me to...

...this. Enter a new Racer 58, Allyson Maynard, a young woman, like Racer 24, Brooke Hollis and Racer 76, Rhiannon Slater, but is a little different from the two. Brooke accidentally runs into her one night in a movie theater in New York City. Allyson, like Brooke, is 22, but Allyson was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and grew up in New York, New York. There was a rumor going around that Allyson drives the current White Angel supercar. This possibly cannot be true, as a fellow racing team has the same colors as the Angel from the Ridge Racer games. She absolutely HATES 13th Racing as much as Brooke as well. Very little is known about Allyson right now--I couldn't stop thinking of who she resembles after watching that painful SVU (like Patrick Flueger's "demonic" sounds in "Families" and Kelli Garner's blood-curdling screaming after being held down in the interrogation room by Dann Florek in "Mean"). Oh, and the story isn't over YET! ;-)

In the end (of that dilemma), it was Mariska Hargitay that introduced me to a young woman named Shannyn Sossamon, an actress/DJ originally from Honolulu, Hawaii(?), but grew up in Reno, Nevada. In cases like this, Billy Campbell needs to watch his back--he might never know when Jeff Hardy and Bam Margera might attack from behind. Or Patrick Flueger trying to drain Billy's 'bad-guy' health in a Jun Kazama-like fashion. Because of that, the story is STILL NOT over yet! ;-)

Then bad news struck AGAIN on Racer 71's behalf on 7/3/06. A Triple Threat main event match on RAW was the problem. Instead of the occasional two (RVD and Cena) winning the belt, it was the bad guy, Edge, causing me to blame Bam Margera. The result: Edge and Lita getting KO'd in WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2006, and Jun Kazama destroying all 23 fighters in Tekken 2 (me using Tekken 5 and knowledge of a repeated 10-hit string). I ABSOLUTELY HATE villains, and Edge becoming WWE Champion has ticked me off, making me think that Bam Margera was EXACTLY to blame, as I believed an evil side of him caused all the villains to break loose. I'm slowly cooling down, but I expect a better RAW next week. Nice job of DX to hijack the control room, making Vince McMahon's voice sound, well, let's say, hilarious. That's just mean and wrong in my book, but it's better than getting a game over in a video game, THAT'S for sure.

However, WWE got a taste of my dream later that night after the DX attack, and Edge stealing the WWE Championship. In act 1 of my dream, a raven-haired, brown-eyed punk-fashioned young woman was seen terrorizing Randy Orton while disguised as a 2006 RAW Diva Search finalist. She also did NOT like to take her clothes off (OK, stop laughing, that wasn't THAT funny), and all of a sudden, the rest of the dream I can't remember now. It looks as if nobody will stop Tekken's "Time-Release" rule. The result: Racer 11 being created in the R.A.C.E.R. 41 series, Waverly Burton, a female clone of Marshall Roberts, but more beautiful and deadly, driving for the Racing Team Citi Trends ("R.T. Citi Trends"), best friends to the GAP, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Pacific Sunwear racing teams. She's also the main antagonist in Amanda Hollister and Angela Malone's stories.

(Editor's note: A skater punk is basically a teenager who wears baggy clothes and branded skate shoes (designed for skateboarding). Girls are known for pulling this off as well. You can also find these clothes at Pacific Sunwear, NASDAQ symbol PSUN.)

Oh, and let me tell you something else...

Chapter 11 Sidenotes

(says something about a loved character losing all the points in the sound category because of her dying sound)

There. With all that Tekken 2 hoopla straightened out, I'm going to come back later to tell you other neat things in 2006, OK? Check back often, because there could be updates in the 2006 section!

Later that day, now 19 going on 20, Splatterhouse led to the "Big Debacle", which is now THIS chapter.

Don't forget to check back!
