  • In the few cases where minor parties are represented, the following abbreviations are used: "Green" (Green Party), "Prog." (Progressive Party) and "Ind." (Independent or Unaffiliated). Furthermore "Vac." indicates a vacancy.
  • Nebraska's legislature is non-partisan; the state Senators do not officially affiliate with political parties.
