Woodford, Greater Manchester

Woodford is situated in northern Cheshire close to the English city of Manchester. A factory airfield there originated with the Avro company and became a part of the British Aerospace consortium building military Nimrods and short range airliners such as the ATP and BAe146 "Whisperjet".
