Current projects
Current projects I'm working on:
Oscars
Currently working on making categories for all Oscars given at the Academy Awards and applying them appropriately. This is a rather large undertaking that is involving the addition of categories to thousands of articles.
For people-centric awards (e.g., "Best Actor") I'm applying a category to the people and to the films they won (or were nominated) for. There already is a category Category:Academy Award winning actors but it combines "Best Actor" with "Best Actress" and I hope to fade it out with more specific categories. There are some categories already created, but not all of them as of yet.
On each article about a film, I'm also putting the actor/actress name in HTML comments. The hope is that when all the categorization is done then a table or something can be written for each movie listing the awards and who won or was nominated for it.
Category:Best Picture OscarCategory:Best Picture Oscar NomineeCategory:Best Actor Oscar Nominee (film)Category:Best Actor Oscar (film)Category:Best Actress Oscar (film)Category:Best Actress Oscar Nominee (film)Category:Best Actor OscarCategory:Best Actor Oscar NomineeCategory:Best Actress OscarCategory:Best Actress Oscar NomineeCategory:Best Supporting Actor Oscar (film)Category:Best Supporting Actor Oscar Nominee (film)Category:Best Supporting Actor OscarCategory:Best Supporting Actor Oscar NomineeCategory:Best Supporting Actress Oscar- Category:Best Supporting Actress Oscar Nominee
Category:Best Supporting Actress Oscar (film)- Category:Best Supporting Actress Oscar Nominee (film) Done through 1969
Need to add the respective "(film)" categories to most of these since the following are awarded to a person (or people) associated with a film:
- Category:Writing Adapted Screenplay Oscar Nominee
- Category:Writing Adapted Screenplay Oscar
- Category:Visual Effects Oscar Nominee
- Category:Visual Effects Oscar
- Category:Sound Oscar Nominee
