Jarryd Hayne, Born February, 1988, is a Rugby League Player currently playing for the Parramatta Eels, in the National Rugby League. At the start of the 2006 season he was not a regular member of the first team, however injuries and poor form from his teammates gave him his chance in the toughest rugby league competetion in the world. His forray into the the limelight has not been without incident, with alegations that he bit a woman at a night club. He got off lightly with no charge, however the club, in the wake of previous disciplinary breaches by teammates, fined the 18 yr old for his ill-discipline. This hasn't stopped him being toughted as a future superstar of the game, however, and in his most recent 4 outtings has scored no less than 9 tries. His position of choice is at Wing.He grew up playing fullback.He is the son of former nrl player,Manoa Thompson.
