Karmacode is the fourth full-length album by Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil, released on March 31st 2006 in several countries in Europe, April 3rd in the UK and other European countries, April 4th in North America, and April 5th in several other European countries.

In an interview in Rock Sound Magazine issue #82 entitled "Lacuna Coil – Breaking the Code", vocalist Cristina Scabbia confirmed that the song "Without Fear" is an Italian song, and that "Enjoy The Silence" is a cover version of the song by Depeche Mode. She also gave a small breakdown of each song.

The first single from the album is Our Truth. A video for the song is currently in rotation on the major music video stations, and a video for their new single Enjoy the Silence has recently been released. Some sites have mentioned that the band is also filming the video for Closer as well.

The album is different in style, from their previous albums. Abandoning their gothic sound, Karmacode combines Nu-Metal riffs, with hard rock and female vocals. Many of the songs have a Pseudo Middle-Eastern element to them. According to Andrea, this album was the band's attempt at becoming "heavier". This attempt was influenced by the bands admiration of supposedly heavy bands such as Korn. This had a very easily noticeable affect of their use of guitar riffs, which now strikingly resemble those of Korn themselves, though they are less prevalent.
