74th Street-Broadway (IRT Flushing Line)
74 Street-Broadway is a main transfer point on the 7. This station allows transfers between the 7 and the IND E, F, G, R and V at the underground Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights station.
The 7 station is a typical local station, with 2 side platforms. There are two exits: the main at 74th Street, which also has an full-time entrance, and at 73th Street. Both allow tranfers to/from the IND.
In recent years, the area has been under heavy construction. The stations have been under renovation, with construction on a new station building complete by 2005.
