Julio Daniel dos Santos Rodríguez (born May 5, 1983 in Asunción, Paraguay) is a football midfielder who currently plays for Bayern Munich. He started his career at Paraguayan club Cerro Porteño before eventually moving to Bayern Munich . He was elected Paraguayan Footballer of the Year in 2005 by Paraguayan newspaper Diario ABC Color.
Dos Santos plays in midfield, the hole-position behind striker and sometimes even as striker.
He is largely deemed as a long-term successor to Michael Ballack at Bayern Munich although he faces stiff competition from Iranian sensation Ali Karimi.
