- Then you entirely missed the point about it being in the legends section of the article, and clearly using the word legend in the statement. In future you may want to consider either changing information for clarity (add an extra statement saying it is not true, for readers that didn't notice it was in the legends section of the article), or alternatively, correcting it (for example by changing chimps to earlier hominid species etc.) rather than deleting it entirely.
