Lyrics I'm not sure why the lyrics arem= included here, seems to be unneccesary. Moreover, why should they be translated? If the song's in French the lyrics should be French as well. Unless this is some unknow gem of literrary genius, which I doubt, an English translation will not add anything. Seems to be more fitting for a fanpage, not an encyclopdia. - The lyrics are included here so that people who wish to view information about this article may see what the song is about. And as you can see, the song is sung in both English and French. Since we are using English Wikipedia, everything must be in English. It would be pointless to put French text on an English site if it is unreadable. --Ed 16:42, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- I disagree for two reasons: 1. Lyrics are almost never included in Wikipedia articles about songs. So to make an exception it'd have to be a very special song/lyric. IMHO of course. 2. If you do want to include lyrics, they should be the lyrics as they are in the song. So if the song is French/English it'd odd to tranlate it. I still feel this should be on a fanpage, not Wikipedia. I understand your reasoning, but I don'y think this is the place for it. All my opinion of course, for what it's worth. Lomedae talk 18:05, August 4, 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I just realized that lyrics are a copyright infringement. The discussion was here.
