The Old Man of Lochnagar is a children's novel written by Prince Charles and published in 1980.

The story was apparently originally written by Prince Charles to entertain his own children.

The story revolves around an old man who lives in a cave in the cliffs surrounding the corrie loch under the mountain of Lochnagar. Lochnagar is a mountain overlooking the royal estate at Balmoral in Scotland where the Royal Family spend much of their summer holidays.
