The corporatisation of Yash Raj Films
Since 2001, Yash Raj Films has moved aggresively from being an independent producer to imitating the Hollywood style studio model. Whereas the Indian Film Industry is historically seen as disorganised and un-professional, this company is perhaps the first to create a "corporate" structure, emulating the entertainment business set-up in the United States.
