ZayZayEM?

This is my username for just about everything I ever use. First used in 2001 in the creation of a hotmail account, after finding that Michael Zimmer is an incredibly common name. It came from a reversal of my intials, MAZ to become 'z'-'ay'-'em' and the zay was just repeated for effect (I blame the recent launch of Ali G on the ABC for this). Capitalization is optional. Don't know quite why I resurrected it for Wiki. It looks snazzy i guess.

The next place to be assaulted by zayzayem (aka. ZZ), and current sponge for most of my time is the wonderful world of SparkNotes [1]. I'd been a fan of their earlier projects with TheSpark and had been eager to join the more serious eduaction-orientated SN. Its study guides are a rather good study resource for Ameri-centric history and literature, and maths and moderately okay for science. In addition some classic books are available on line, and for American high schoolers SAT practice tests. Its also got a wonderful message board system with a thriving community that is mostly centered upon the Current events message board rather than actual study help with many obscure boards being quite ignored.

ZayZayEM has been seen on various computer games message boards including those of the Warlords series. As well as a member of news/info groups such as online versions of New York Times and Nature, and The Friday Project [2]. He probably won't stop until the entire internet is under his mighty fists (online personas always have ego issues). I'm also an ocacsioanl (crap) player of Warcraft III, but am currently trying to go cold turkey on my computer games addiction.

About the Real Me

I was born on January 18, 1985 in Melbourne, Vic. Australia; Moved to Darwin, when I was 1, but have lived in Yeppoon, Queensland since January 1990. I am part Canadian from my father's side, and also have Scottish and Germanic ancestry in my mix. While I'm white, I have a dark-ish complexion (too many naked days in the Darwinian sun) and still get mistaken sometimes for an Indian or Aborigine, but I can't help it if people are morons. I also have racoon eyes which leads to me being mistaken for some doped-out drug addict, and probably contributes to my on-going unemployment.

I am studying Biomedical science at Central Queensland University in Rockhampton And will officially finish on October 23, 2004, hopefully with a credit or higher average. I was been "voluntarily withdrawn" from my grammar school in year 3, and then finished off my primary education at a local Seventh Day Adventist-run school. I was accelerated into secondary eduaction from grade 6 into grade 8, and joined my brother at the local all boys, Christian Brothers' boarding school, St Brendan's College. The scars are starting to heal =P

I have been overseas once to Canada and the United States with a visit to the UK on the way back. I hope to return to Canada as Victoria, British Columbia in Spring was probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I also want to go to Japan, Madagascar and Denmark.

Wiki-volvement

I found Wiki in mid-2004 and actually started using it as a useful tool in September for quick preliminary assignment work and clarification of terms in addition to sites such as Dictionary.com, http://www.acronymfinder.com AcronymFinder.com] and kartoo, the almighty map-based meta-search engine.

Most of the pages I will change will probably be related to Australia, Central Queensland, health, science and possibly other interests of mine including Norse Mythology, religion, government, games and anime.
