Simon Pulsifer is a prolific editor of the English-language Wikipedia, having edited more than 78,000 articles and created more than 2,000. In August 2006, the Globe and Mail newpaper ran a profile on Pulsifer, describing him as the "King of Wikipedia." [1]

Currently living in Ottawa, Canada, Mr. Pulsifer also has a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Toronto. While studying for his bachelor's degree his is said to have spent over 6 hours a day editing and creating articles for Wikipedia. According to Pulsifer, his editing is motivated by his belief that "[i]t's important that people around the world have access to free, accurate and unbiased information. Wikipedia tries to do that, and it's a very honourable and admirable goal." [2]

According to the Globe and Mail Pulsifer, 24, lives at home and is currently single. Mr. Pulsifer has disputed some of the facts provided by the globe and mail regarding the amount of time he currently devotes to this website.[[3]]
