Impala (comics)

Impala is the name of a DC Comics superhero and a Marvel Comics villain.

Impala (DC Comics)

M'Bulaze (only name given) was a politically minded Zulu warrior from South Africa. He helped the Flash dismantle a bomb in South Africa and joined forces with other African heroes in the Crisis on Infinite Earths. He, along with other Global Guardians, was brainwashed by the Queen Bee of Bialya. After coming to his senses and being rescued by other former Global Guardians, Impala lost his powers to Fain Y'onia, and he later died at Roulette's house of games.

Kid Impala

He is succeeded by Kid Impala of the Ultramarine Corps who first appears in JLA: Classified #3.

Impala (Marvel Comics)

This Impala (real name unknown) is female, and apparently African in origin. She is a mercenary, but follows a strict honor code. A non-powered athelete and fighter, she carries various throwing weapons, particularly a set of extensible javelins. She was briefly seen allied with Asp and Black Mamba, but has rarely appeared recently.
