(Seperate Edit by Another Author) I would like to add here as an additional, That Tsubasa and XXXHolic are Crossovers of each other throughout their entire run. The first Book of both XXXHolic and Tsubasa contain the first meetings of The Occult Gang of XXXHolic, and the Dimensional Travelers of Tsubasa. It's not just an appearance cameo, It's an integral Part of the story. They continue to have contacts throughout the two Stories that drive the two plots along.

The World of XXXHolic can be deduced as the same universe as CCS takes place in, Hence the hints about a Certain Item being only a model and not the real thing.

The Tagline for this series is, (Or at least it should be...) "There is no such thing as Coincidence, There is only Hitsuzen. Everything happens for a reason, and there is a Reason for everything we do."

I did add a reference to them "frequently" crossing over with each other and being "intimately linked" in one of my edits, but you may wish to expand on this in another subsection, referencing specific ways and points in the plot in which they cross over with each other (such as the Dimensional Travelers sending "interesting" objects to Yūko, like the apple - in Tsubasa there is even this whole scene revolving around each of the Travelers discussing what an "apple" is in their respective language/world - or the Mokona that came from Yūko and now travels with them, serving as both a link to Yūko and as a translation device). Character name meanings

There's already a reference to the meaning of Watanuki's name, but I discovered that the "侑" in Yûko's name means "to help, assist, repay kindness" and "suggest, give advice." I think this may be worth adding under trivia since it has to do with her role in the story. Likewise, Shizuka ("静") means "quiet or calm" and reflects on Domeki's character. I find it interesting, so is it worth adding to the article? --Katsuhagi 01:40, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reversion 28/09/05

Continual (happening repeatedly) is better in this context than continuous (happening constantly with no interruptions). Also was there a reason for the cAPiTALizaTIon? ~ VeledanTalk + new 23:00, 28 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Characters

There really should be more in this entry about the characters of the series and the plot. In Watanuki's character page there is a run down of most of the characters of the manga (under "Relationships") and I really feel like that should be moved to the main article. However, someone has raised a question of copyvio about them, though there's no proof, so I'm a little leery of doing so. Grianne 16:17, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thats good. Someone should sort out Kemihiro, on this page it says it means "to search for someone" on Watanuki's perspective page it says it means "prophet". -- Psi edit 02:55, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Holic?

I thought that in an interview with Anime Insider awhile back, it was explained that the 'xxx' was just part of the logo, and the title should be pronounced as just 'Holic'. This was supposedly coming from the director of the film, not CLAMP themselves, so I'm not sure whether it's true. (Even if it is the case, it's fine to leave the xxx in the page's title, since we're supposed to use the most common name.)--Tally Solleni 02:09, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Holic is the title that will be used for the US video release. The xxx simply means "fill in the blank" of whatever the partiocular person who comes to Yuuko for help (or Yuuko herself) is obsessed with. Although DelRay had no trouble using xxxHolic as the title for the english release of the manga, in English the symbol XXX has an entirely different connotation, particularly where video and movies are concerned, so naturally the North Ameircan video lciensors are uncomfortable with using it. I wouldn't put it past CLAMP to be in on the joke as far as that goes.Michael Hopcroft 04:23, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I believe the pronunciation is just "Holic", but pronunciation and spelling are two different things. -- Ned Scott 04:53, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Names in western order

Could someone double-check to make sure I got all the names in western order of given name/surname? Even DelRay isn't consistent in which is the given and which is the surname and I had to check with a fansub and listen to which name was given first and reverse the order. Hopefully, I got them right. --TheFarix (Talk) 13:02, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Split episode section to it's own article

I've gone ahead and split the list of episodes to it's own article List of ×××HOLiC episodes, since it has gotten so large, and will continue to do so. Be sure to add the new article to your watchlist and continue to contribute there as well :D -- Ned Scott 07:18, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
