Synopsis

Template:Spoiler Phoebe frees a genie, Jinny, from a bottle, only to find that she has been tricked into becoming the genie herself. Anxious to put Leo and Piper back together so he can be conceived, Chris uses Phoebe to make his wish come true, but she takes his instructions too literally. Feeling that he is losing Paige, Richard steals the bottle so he can wish Paige back into his life.

Trivia

  • The episode title is a play on words to the television series I Dream of Jeannie.
  • Chris tells Paige that he is the future son of Piper and Leo, and that Phoebe knows it as well.
  • This is Richard Montana's final episode.
  • Richard's brother Steve previously appeared in two episodes where as his brother Benjamin previously only appeared in the episode Love's a Witch.
  • Richard's current level of powers and his means of "materializing" bear a striking resemblance to Cole's power level and "bright shimmering" of the fifth season.
  • Leo reads the inscription on the genie bottle, which is in Arabic, from left to right. But the Arabic language reads from right to left, unlike English.
  • In the episode Be Careful What You Witch For the Genie stated that a Genie cannot grant a wish to kill someone, but Richard did so.
  • Richard strips his powers in his final episode.
  • Richard wished all of "the Charmed Ones" alive. Although Prue was a Charmed One at the time of her death, the Charmed Ones have been reconstituted after that to include Paige and create a new Power of Three, thus, Prue did not come to life when Richard fulfilled his wish.
