The Institut d'Estadística de Catalunya (Institute of Statistics of Catalonia, usually referred to by its acronym IDESCAT) is the official body responsable for collecting and publishing statistics in the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. It is under the responsability of the Department of the Economy and Finances of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
