Moon Area High School is a public high school located in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The school serves grades 9 through 12 in the Moon Area School District. It is located at 904 Beaver Grade Road. The high school sits on the same campus as Moon Area Middle School, Moon Stadium and the former Carnot Elementary School.
The Moon Area High School mascot is the Tiger, and the school's colors are red and white.

Athletics
In athletics, Moon Area High School is distinguished by many highly successful programs including football, boys' basketball, girls' basketball, track and field, boys' swimming, girls' swimming, boys' soccer, girls' soccer, baseball, golf and wrestling.
Moon's boys' and girls' basketball teams have been successful in recent years, winning many Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) championships. The teams have also had much success in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association State Championships.
Moon Area High School's football team appears annually in the WPIAL Class AAA playoffs. The team won the 1998 WPIAL Class AAA Championship at Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Stadium. Moon defeated Blackhawk 34-7 to claim the title. The Tigers then went on to the PIAA in Hershey, only to fall 10-0 to Allentown Central Catholic.
The Moon Area High School baseball team has also been in the PIAA and WPIAL Class AAA playoffs consistantly over the past eight (8) years. Winning two PIAA State titles, beating Central Dauphin, 2-0 , in 2001, and defeating Bethlehem Liberty, 3-2 in 2002. They were in the WPIAL Class AAA playoffs seven of the past nine years and PIAA State Class AAA playoffs 4 of the past 6 years.
Moon competes in District VII (also known as the WPIAL) in the PIAA.

- Chuck Aber, Class of 1963 - appeared on Mr. Roger's Neighborhood as Neighbor Aber
- Bob Davie - Class of 1972 - Former Notre Dame head football coach and current sports commentator
- Rich Milot, Class of 1975 - Former Linebacker Penn State 1975-1979, and the Washington Redskins 1979-1987. Played in three Super Bowls, (XVII, XVIII, XXII). Winning two times in XVII and XXII
- John Calipari, Class of 1978 - College and professional basketball coach and executive
- Jodi Applegate, Class of 1982 - Emmy Award winning host for Fox's Good Day New York. She also worked at MSNBC (covering Princess Diana's funeral), NBC News as co-host of the short-lived Later Today and Fox25 in Boston.
