The Scotland Office, usually known as the Scottish Office is an arm of the United Kingdom government, responsible for Scottish affairs. Until the advent of devolution and the Scottish Parliament and the Scottish Executive it was a major department led by the Secretary of State for Scotland. Since devolution its powers were limited to reserve powers excercised infequently, and it is now a branch of the Department of Constitutional Affairs.

There is no longer a separate office of Secretary of State for Scotland, this now being a secondary function held by another member of the Cabinet.
