A trademark of Goodyear, it was the name of a tire common on late 1960s muscle cars which used belts made of fiberglass. Soon replaced by steel belt radials, these tires are still manufactured for owners of period cars. Many of these tires featured the distinctive "redlines" that characterized the first Hot Wheels toy cars by Mattell.
