Certainly always a possibility, and indeed one I used to sweat quite a bit. It's more a philosophical than practical concern at this point, though, because we don't need to worry about hurting the original User:EddieSegoura's reputation, since a checkuser did at one point definitively tie him to some blatant exicornt vandal accounts.
