Gold medal – first place 1984 Los Angeles Basketball

Carol Menken-Schaudt is a former basketball player who won a gold medal on the USA team at the 1984 Summer Olympics [1]. She graduated from Oregon State University, playing there from 1979-1981. She was All-Conference three years, and was an All-American her senior year, leading the NCAA in field goal percentage at .750. She still holds Oregon State's career records for points (2,243), rebounds (901) and field goal percentage (.692). [2]
