The West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive better known by its corporate name Centro is the body resposible for co-ordinating public transport services thoughout the West Midlands County in England.

Centro does not directly run any services, which are run by private companies, but subsidises some public transport services which would not otherwise be commercially viable. It also provides information about public transport services, manages the funding and administration of concessionary fares, and provides bus stops and shelters.

As well as this it funds, promotes and manages major county-wide public transport innitiatives such as transport interchanges and the Midland Metro.

Centro is accountable to the West Midlands Passenger Transport Authority which is made up of appointed councillors from the local authorities of Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton, which make up the West Midlands, it is also co-funded by these authorities.
