Cecina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Livorno in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 80 km southwest of Florence and about 30 km southeast of Livorno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 27,079 and an area of 42.5 km2.[3]
Cecina borders the following municipalities: Bibbona, Casale Marittimo, Castellina Marittima, Guardistallo, Montescudaio, Riparbella, Rosignano Marittimo.
