The Sun is the first and only free national English daily newspaper in Malaysia. It is published by Sun Media Corporation Sdn Bhd a part of the Nexnews Group.

The tabloid newspaper has a circulation of about 150,000 (half that of The Star) usually distributed at office buildings, condominiums, LRT stations, fast food outlets and selected vendors.

History

The Sun was launched in 1993 and was converted into a free paper in 2002.
