Bold text monoral is a Japanese rock band. But actually their sound and members are borderless. Their music reminds us warm, tender, strong and nostalgic atomosphere. They have strong mind and it appears in their music so well. That's why we can feel so satisfied with the good quality, peaceful wave length and be happier at last.
This band came out with the debut album "In Stereo" in 2001 July. Members are called Anis Shimada(Vo.) and Ali Morizumi(Bass.). Anis is Japanese-Moroccan who speaks Japanese, English, French, and Arabic. He used to be a fashion model and sometimes he used to support some famous musicians' performing on TV etc as a guitarist at that time. He is often involved with TV commercial songs, other famous musicians' songs as chorus and narration for TV commercials besides monoral at the moment.
Ali is Japanese-American grew up in Tokyo.He can speak both Japanese and English fluently, so it was very useful for VJ and DJ. So he used to be on music TV shows like MTV as a VJ a lot. He's still on TV show on MUSIC ON! TV at the moment. He's famaus as a radio DJ as well. He doesn't have any shows on radio at the moment, but especially when he had one at Inter FM, his sense of music, I mean his selection was so amazing. His way of thinking infuluenced heaps of listeners as well.
Support members are also amazing. Tomoya Tsutsui(G.) and Jun Matsumoto(Dr.) support famous musicians and bands not only in Japan. Eric Zay(G.) compose some songs for TV commercials a lot.
Anyway, the music monoral create is diverse, deep minded, spiritual, and peaceful. Because the guys are amazing. Music can't lie. What you feel when you listen to their music is the truth. Believe it, and you'll be released.
