Your VandalProof Application

Dear Katieh5584,

Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under main here). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. - Glen 03:00, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-Semitism

I noticed that you reverted my automated edit to Anti-Semitism. I was replacing "--" with "—", which I'm not sure qualifies as vandalism. May I ask what your reason for reverting was? Please do not remove this comment from your talk page until you have replied to my query. DickClarkMises 19:40, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am again requesting that you answer my query. Please note that the official Wikipedia policy, WP:3RR, says the following about reverting the changes by others to your user talk page: "It is usually considered bad form to remove comments (other than personal attacks) from your Talk page except to archive them." Please answer my query in the same spirit in which it was made—with the desire to facilitate cooperation amongst Wikipedians. DickClarkMises 20:23, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry it was a mistake, I didn't mean to revert your edits.--Katieh5584 20:25, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem at all. Thanks for keeping a close watch on oft-vandalized articles, and thanks for remembering to be bold. Cheers, DickClarkMises 20:30, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your counter-vandalism efforts

I just wanted to give you some praise for your RC patrolling. Your help with vandalism patrol is much appreciated, and I chuckled to see that the reason on your user page for your vandalism reverting is pretty much the same as mine. I noticed you were declined from VandalProof because you didn't have enough edits; it looks like you're getting there now, so keep up the good work. You will probably pass the next time you apply, if you're still interested. If you ever need help on patrol, let me know. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 19:07, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Thanks, it's nice to know my efforts are appreciated!--Katieh5584 19:09, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to VandalProof!

Congrats! -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 23:35, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I question your recent revert to this article ... the comment was a nearly direct quote from the episode, in response to a question from Peter Brian about why there were no toilets in the men's room. See www.FamilyGuyQuotes.com and Wikiquotes (Brian Goes Back To College [4.15]). It should be replaced with the correct one. :-) --Dennette 02:56, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind ... I inserted the quote as part of the fix-up for the character Welsley Shephardson, another New Yorker employee in the same episode. --Dennette 03:36, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I made a mistake. --Katieh5584 12:07, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

W.I.T.C.H.

Uh, just to let you know I was not vandilizing on that Shetfield Character page. A lot of people delete my pages because I do not have time to edit them and thinking they are going to remain with no descriptions they delete them. I am a W.I.T.C.H. fan and an experienced Wikipedia member, and I need help to get this page up, or it will be deleted. I will put up the "Construction" notice again if you do not mind. I also work with Ryulong on Power Rangers. Tyar 19:23, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

anti-vandal tool

Just thought I would let you know in case you don't check the anti-vandal tool talk page. I answered your question there about the popups, yes installing navigational popups fixed the nonadmin rollback link for me. --24fan24 21:31, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Er, why did you revert my edits? I was trying to make the Cyrillic easier to read. Adam Cuerden 16:48, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

List of computer and video games considered the worst ever

Hello Katieh558,

I am writing you because you are one of the Wikipedians who have editted the List of computer and video games considered the worst ever. However, the way it is being done now, I believe doesn't work. I would like to invite you to take 2 minutes of your time and leave your thoughts on the talk page.

best regards,

JackSparrow Ninja

Please consider also warning vandals

Thank you for reverting vandalism on Wikipedia. Could you also please consider using our vandal warning system [1]? First offenses get a "test1," then a "test2," followed by a "test3" and "test4." At the end of this, if the vandal persists, he or she merits blocking for a period of time. If you do this, it will greatly help us in decreasing vandalism on Wikipedia. Much thanks, -- Kukini 19:06, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain why you reverted my edits in De Grootste Nederlander? --Stijn Vermeeren 20:41, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
