Triaria
Appearance
Triaria was the wife of Emperor Lucius Vitellius in the first century C.E. She rode armed into battle at his side.
According to Tacitus, when ex-praetor Plancius Varus implied treasonable behaviour by Dolabella, she terrified the City Prefect, Flavius Sabinus, warning him not to seek a reputation for clemency by endangering the Emperor.
