Li's works, including The Old Donkey (2010), Fly with the Crane (2012) and River Road (2014), have gained attention at independent film festivals.[1]

Personal life

Born in Gansu Province, China, in 1983, Li Ruijun studied art and music at the age of fourteen. After graduating from the China National Ministry of Radio, Film and Television in 2003, he initially worked in broadcasting.[2][3]
