I am a 51-yr old Sri Lankan ships captain - my interests are modern science especially (but not limited to) space, space-travel and cosmology. Am a keen reader of New Scientist.

I sail for 6 to 10 months at a time and am home for about 3 months during which time I spend a lot of my free time on the net. I am growing more and more interested in Wikipedia and am now A TRUE BELIEVER!
